  1. I believe the left side of Colossus hasn't been running for a couple of months now.
  2. Yeah absolutely. I love all three standups I've ridden. I was told all three were uncomfortable and on all three I found it to be mostly untrue. A little common sense to wear your restraints correctly and they are just fine. I actually found Mantis to be the most comfortable and I was warned it would be the worst! On any standup I find if you stop just short of standing up straight you don't end up with your weight on the bicycle seat (bad for men) yet you can still stand without crouching, and close the OTSR tightly so you arent banging around, the ride is mostly enjoyable. Vortex has some headbanging issues that can be worked around and so does Riddler, but I didn't experience it on Mantis (granted I only rode Mantis once). If you stand up all the way like the ops usually tell you to, you're gonna have a really bad time. If you don't close your restraint tightly, you're going to have a bad time (and I find thats true of most OTSRs). Beyond just Standups I find very few coasters to be truly uncomfortable and when they are it's usually due to wear and tear (X2) or modifications (Revolution). I have that middle of the road average guy body shape though, so some rides are more uncomfortable for people of different shapes and sizes. Green Lantern isn't the slightest bit uncomfortable for me but it seems if you are too short or too small it can be painful. I totally agree! My favorite would be Riddlers Revenge at SFMM though. It's long, smooth, and intense. *edit* Well, except for Vortex at CGA. Vortex is like a concussion machine.
  3. That vekoma junior suspended coaster looks like freedom flyer at Fun Spot...
  4. You were in Walibi World Holland. Now there is a direct flight to Blackpool International airport... Therefore, I'm guessing you are going to be in Blackpool, England soon.
  5. Great TR! The park looks amazing. Are the operations better than the Happy Valley parks in China?
  6. I'm planning to visit tomorrow, how has the crowd been lately? Long lines? Bad operations? Is getting a Flash Pass worth it?
  7. Perhaps a V2 clone? I feel like V2 is the best of all the Intamin Impulses that I've ridden.
  8. Now if X2 would be changed into this and renamed X3, my life would be complete.
  9. Trust me, Vortex is TERRIBLE!!! I think "Terrible" is the theme for most of the B&M Stand-ups. The only one that I really enjoyed is Riddler's Revenge @ SFMM.
  10. The buffalo wings near Apocolypse is quite good too.
  11. Just...no! Zacspins are terrible rides. They are terribly painful!
  12. For me, B&M Dive machines are awesome. For woodies, GOLD STRIKER!!! Super twisty and it totally hauls ass through its course. GCI really outdid themselves on Goldie. Majestic enough??? Hell Yeah!! Is this twisty enough for you? More sexy curves on Gold Striker.
  13. Rattler to Iron Rattler!!! Definitely the best alteration EVER!
  14. Mountain Peak (GIB) @ Jinjiang Action Park
  15. Wait till you ride Roar when its been retracked. Its a much much better ride. Roar's been running a little rough this year.
  16. Wow, Gilroy Gardens hasn't changed much. It actually used to be called Bonfante Gardens before Cedar Fair and its nice to see that it has retained it's small park charm.
  17. ^I don't think SFMM will ever be the roller coaster capital of the world. Yeah, it does have the most coasters for now. But, its terrible operations and constant downtime on rides drags it down. I personally think Cedar Point is sooo much better.
  18. Wow, that looks awesome! Definitely need to stop by Kings Island next year.
  19. Hopefully, CGA will install a Zamperla Air Race...
  20. I don't know, but I think Gold Striker's station is a little narrow. Thus, you can't pick your seat which is kind of annoying sometimes.
  21. Could this Alien vs. Human ride possibly be Battlestar Galactica from Universal Studios Singapore? I think its possible that USS has sold the ride to Genting Theme Park. Vekoma should probably refurbish the ride though due to all those technical difficulties that keep on occurring.
