Romon World to open in China
gerstlaueringvar replied to _koppen's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The park is said to be open on May 1st. For those of you who has been to Lotte World, on the scale from 1 to 10, how similar is this knock off? -

The concept art kind of made me think Junker is something a bit bigger than Lynet, but wow it looks massive on the photos! -

I saw someone wearing that in LA, really mature. Does Lagoon do the maintenance of Colossus in house or do they contact Gerstlauer for it? -

^^So nice to see those DDD style lap bar on the background! -
Somehow I got a feeling that Japanese amusement industry isn't going as well as US and Europe. They are closing more rides than opening rides and most park outside of Universal, Disney, Nagashima Spaland and Fuji-Q haven't gotten any new ride for years. Wing coaster is likely to happen, but since they aren't building a lot of coasters, it might take longer.

The First Time I saw the Elevator Platform Track from Intermountain Lift, it looked like it would use the same type of Bogies on a Coaster Train. I wonder if this Make's Cannibal 2 Credits? lol Actually 3 credits because the elevator has two sides. -

It's so weird seeing wheel assembly that looks like those on roller coasters on elevator, thanks for the photos that can fulfill my nerdy heart for this week. -

^ I was really excited for the twisted airtime hill on your layout, seems like Gerstlauer is taking things slowly this time. -

10 Stators on a Cross Section of Track to Launch a Mouse Car or a Single Line of 10 Stators?I'm thinking about something like this. -

They can use 10 sets of those to launch a wild mouse car, as long as the train won't break into pieces from the extreme acceleration. I think US Army started using this technology to launch missiles decades ago. -

I appreciate that B&M is stepping out of their comfort zone slowly, like the relatively fast transitions, only one trim, the turnaround etc. Looks like a fun ride that GP will eat up, but from the reviews, it's not something that I would travel to unless I'm in a 4 hours range. -

Not really, Superman takes more than twice the time to reach 100kph. -

Yay for Infinity Coaster train with lap bar only! That acceleration is really wild! Love how Gerstlauer is pushing LSM's limit. -

Looks really good, but I have to say I was expecting a more creative layout. Still, it could be a really great ride when the theme is 100% done. Congratulations to Gerstlauer! -

Gotta go to Mexico! So excited to hear about how great it is. Do you think the negative G is stronger than Outlaw Run, NTaG etc?
