Is it true that some people actually bring the laptop and study/work in Disneyland?

Loving the weird shapes of those reworked supports getting forced into the old footers.

Maybe for this specific design, one or two extra cars is enough?

Test Track’s track system basically has two triangular shaped steel tracks for the car wheels, and underneath them there are two tubular rails for the guide wheels and also power lines. It’s an incredibly complex and “extra” design.

Trackless technology is basically just changing the underground wire to underground sensors that guides the vehicle. Not that much different. They can definitely use the wire for the “train” part and new embedded sensors for the separated path part.

No problem with Tomorrowland being gone at all. I grew up with the park and I honestly would have no issue if any of the opening day attraction is gone. That Tomorrowland is sad and I’m so glad Disney is working to change it. Now please get rid of that stupid Hyperspace Mountain overlay. If they do a survey I’m fairly confident that most guests would want the Michael Giacchino soundtrack back.

Will be interesting to see how this resort will be "seamlessly connected" to Galaxy Edge. Your permission to spend the night inside of DHS is loaded into your Magic Band and security won’t kick you out at night.

It is also possible that Disney is building the longest indoor coaster but say “one of” for now in order to avoid the awkwardness of having a longer indoor coaster opening somewhere else before 2021. Anyway, it’s Disney. Coaster nerd statistics don’t matter and it will be a great ride!

Classification is overrated. As long as you’re having fun who cares? But of course some of that stuff matter when safety code is involved.

For how slender that piece of land is, I actually think a modern version of Peoplemover could work perfectly. Also with all the show buildings and resort hotels around, indoor media based attractions would most likely have a much higher presence than outdoor attractions. Well it’s Disney and OLC so that isn’t much of a problem because they have the cash.

^ It takes a looooong time for Disney to do anything and I’m sure the total buyout has something to do with it.

Oh yeah absolutely. Fujiyama is my favorite hyper just for how powerful and not perfectly engineered it is. I love it when you can clearly see a company was betting everything on one project and put in their maximum effort with the technology they have available. Much more meaningful than an L shaped out and back hyper. I was trying to say that Togo was doing some really innovative projects, they invented tons of stuff that pushed the whole industry forward. Such an underrated company.

Is that why Dodonpa's launch is so mild? Or how Kawasemi has mild airtime? Or Flying Dinosaur has a mildly forceful layout? Oh wait... Yeah, because three hand selected more extreme coasters are 100% representative of national trends /s. The entire country of Japan has 91 inversions. You can find 89 inversions in three parks in America. Tastes fluctuate between nations, and in Japan tastes are in general more mild than those of Americans. Or simply not that many modern coasters are built in Japan since Universal and Disney pretty much runs the country’s theme park business. And during the 80s and 90s, Japan has their own manufacturer so what Togo and Meisho were willing to push for represented Japanese general public’s idea of roller coasters. When Meisho can’t do anything and Togo is focusing on more innovative ideas instead of pushing the boundaries of forces like Schwarzkopf, that would result in the general forcefulness of Japanese coasters during that time being lower than the other parts of the world’s. The American and European Coasters that made their way into Japan aren’t tamer or anything.

What if it’s a 7DMT style swinging car version of Family Boomerang?

That launch is definitely more intense than most Intamin’s Accelerators’. Good stuff.
