Being a Teen Ride Enthusiast?
gerstlaueringvar replied to ultradude306's topic in Random, Random, Random
I actually dreamed to be a roller coaster designer since 6. I spend most of the time on Nolimits and really I feel there is a gap between me and all the GP around me that I really have less in common with them. Luckily, some of my friends started to know about coasters since I talk about coasters all the time. They started to enjoy the airtime instead of holding tight on the restraint. That make me feel so great that I made a huge difference to probably everyone around me that their attitude towards coasters started to change and nobody had ever think I am a wired person. I will keep going and try to turn more GP into enthusiants. -
Flight Deck. Which would you rather have to go backwards: Magnum or Steel Eel?

Then you might need to prepare for the park food all the time. I wish I could design Iron Streak for Cedar Point. -

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
gerstlaueringvar replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
While waiting for Sky Car today at Mysterious Island, the man behind me said he has been on the coaster in Chimelong Paradise which has 12 inversions . His girlfriend said she has been on the SLC at Happy Valley. And they said they are the bravest couple in the world. Then, the girl hold on tight on the top of the restraint, the op told her to hold on the bottom of it, the girl said she feels safe in that way, she thinks the restraint may break apart She scream like the people in Scream(I mean the movie) while riding. The man hold on really tight during the whole ride. And they look like they survived on SAW when they got off the train. BTW, seems like I am wired because seems like ONLY me put my hands up on rides in China. And 95% of the people I meet thinks the INVERSIONS are the most thrilling parts of the ride. Where is the airtime? -

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
gerstlaueringvar replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've heard like at least 300 people said roller coasters are not safe, they only use the wheel above the track and if the designer calculates wrong, the train will fall off and everybody will die!!!!! Also 99% of the people here think inversions are the most thrilling part of coasters!!!!! And, around 60% of the people around me think ALL coasters have an engine to motor it so when there is no electricity, it would stop on the track. Imagine you are in the 121 degrees part of Takabisha. Nearly everyone hold on tight while taking a coaster because they think the structure will hit your hands if you put your hands up. I am getting used to it that I don't want to explain to them anymore unless we are friends or he or she really want to know something about coasters.
