  1. I just love this thread so much! By the way, if you want to ride Gatekeeper, use a hammer to knock your head before sitting in the chair. That makes it more realistic with a headache.
  2. Wildfire. Because that's the only one I've been on.
  3. Best: Superman at SFOT Worst: the one at Mysterious Island.
  4. Revolution at SFMM. Pretty good start.
  5. ^ Because of the flu? Great photo as usual! Brought back some nice memory. Just remember it being a rough one for me before Hades360 but turned out to be butter smooth after riding Hades360.

  7. Here. I will answer for him. I don't care about atmosphere and theming most of the time either, but DisneySea and Epcot are my favorite two parks. I think what Yin means, and this is my feeling as well, is, "I don't care about atmosphere and theming as it doesn't apply to MOST parks, but when it does, it means everything, but when it doesn't, as long as a park has an AWESOME AWESOME selection of rides, I don't care about atmosphere and theming." At a park like Silver Dollar City. They have both. Outlaw Run, Wildfire, Powder Keg are arguabley some of the best in their class, the park is a pleasure to be at, and the staff is amazingly nice. Do I wish that Six Flags Great Adventure had all that too? Sure, of course. But they have El Toro and a bunch of other rides I like there also. Do I put Six Flags Great Adventure above Silver Dollar City? No. But does the fact that they DON'T have any atmopshere and theming bother me (and don't try to tell me they do, because they don't.) No. I like the park for what it is. And it's not a park that *needs* atmosphere and theming for me to have repeat visits there. That's what I think Yin means by his signature. Not sure why you felt the need to call him out on it. --Robb How could I have a better answer? It is exactly what I mean.
  8. Mantis...What the heck is the relationship between a stand up coaster and a mantis? Couldn't they find a better name than Banshee? Superman: Krypton Coaster, just because it is located near a cliff doesn't mean you can actually find Krypton from it.
  9. Finally, someone mentioned about Millennium Force. It is pretty nice for the new millennium but I don't think it has "force"
  10. I think it doesn't have any special meaning. Located in the kiddie area, it might just be something that use water to cool the kids down in a hot summer day. Does the water come with high pressure to float the rock?
  11. Does anyone know what does this thing mean?
  12. Intamin hyper would not be a wrong choice. RMC is also a great idea. But as someone posted before, it is too good for a park to own a GCI and a RMC at the same time.
  13. I am feeling extremely excited for this. Probably because it might means more of these would appear
  14. Either way, I don't care about the atomosphere or theming unless it goes extremely bad like some Chinese parks. Six Flags decided to put more money on their budget to rides instead of putting more money into theming. That's why Six Flags have a lot of kick-ass rides instead of something like HRRR and Space Mountain.
  15. At least we don't need to worry about it too much if we visit in 2016 Sign me up for this tour! Hopefully it would not be as credit whorish as the previous China tours, some really nice coasters are under construction right now. Finger crossed that Lewa Happy World will open on time.
  16. Dragon at Ocean Park Hong Kong. Also my first looping coaster back to when I was 6 years old.
  17. Just remembered about the corn dog at Disneyland
  18. You guys should all come to China and wait a 5+ hours line for a knock-off SLC!
  19. Day 1: Go to HK, hit Ocean Park and Disneyland Day 2: Fly to New York and hit Coney Island Day 3: Six Flags Great Adventure Day 4: Six Flags New England and Lake Compunce Day 5: Kennywood, Dorney Park and a night at Hershey Day 6: Hershey with SkyRush Day 7: Knoebel's Day 8: CP with Maverick Day 9: King's Island Day 10: Indiana Beach and SFGAm Day 11: SFGAm with Goliath and Viper Day 12: Holiday World and fly to Virginia Day 13: Intimidator 305! Day 14: BGW Day 15: SFOG Day 16: Dollywood Day 17: Six Flags Fiesta Texas with Iron Rattler . Day 18-23: SFOT, buy a season pass, keep riding NTaG and Shockwave Day 24-26: Explore everything at Silver Dollar City. Day 27: Fly to L.A. and city sightseeing Day 28: KBF and Sea World Day 29: SFMM Day 30: Cross the boarder to MEXICO! Hit Medusa Day 31: Hit those Schwarzkopf goodness. Day 32: Fly to Europe and keep going. Just something fantasy. I guess I would get sick of coasters after this trip.
  20. Definitely X-Flight! X-Flight is smoother, more forceful even though it was pretty weak , and it is not as boring as Gatekeeper. Gatekeeper has NO airtime on the camel back and it is realle boring after the MCBR.
  21. Agree with this. Gatekeeper broke down six times in total during my three-day visit this summer. There was once the train stuck on the lift hill and riders were going down from the catwalk. Also the Dice Machine at Happy Valley Shanghai was a maintenance nightmare.
  22. I wonder if they would use the same footers like the Premier LSM coaster at Holiday Park.
