  1. Awesome trip report! PS: Sorry about your Blues. I was rooting for them.
  2. Enterprises were always one of my favorite flat rides growing up. I was bummed to see the one at SFGAdv leave a while back. When I first heard of this "2.0" version I was really excited to see new life breathed into the concept. To see it in action is great - hopefully Six Flags does more of these "2-3 flat ride" packages at other parks!
  3. ^ Thunderhead was by far the most pleasant surprise for me when I visited the park back in March. IMO one of the best GCIs I've been on, right up with Lightning Racer.
  4. The majority are smart, sensible creatures who recognize greatness when they see it.
  5. Yea, you have a Wawa, a couple fast food joints, and ten miles of woods in every direction. If you REALLY don't want to eat inside the park, there are a couple options, but honestly there is good food to be had. You could always just go to Nathan's on the Boardwalk if you want something familiar.
  6. This is (mostly) how I feel. It's certainly fun and enjoyable, but NOT worth the long lines it generates most of the day. I might not call it "forgettable", but it's definitely a "one-and-done" ride for me. I'll gladly spend my time over on Skyrush and Storm Runner instead.
  7. Holy CRAP that thing takes that final turn fast!
  8. I live right off of the 73/38/41 interchange and took 38N to get to my in-laws house yesterday, but now that I think about it, I left too early to have passed you. Next time your ride blows out a tire in that spot, hit a brother up!
  9. Out of curiosity, Boldikus, do you know where on which road you were stuck on in NJ? I suspect I may have driven past you unknowingly.
  10. We might be making our first trip to Knoebels in late June. Could someone with more experience tell me what to expect during a late June mid-week visit? We're thinking June 22-23 or 29-30.
  11. I may think it's dumb, but at least I can recognize a running joke when I see one...
  12. Nice to see Six Flags making investments like this! It's refreshing. Oh sorry, was I also supposed to bitch about the new name?
  13. #ThisConversationJumpedTheSharkALongTimeAgo
  14. Its like the thread suddenly timewarped back to 2014. QFT
  15. ^ I'm with you, it's one of my favorite coasters. It's funny, because it seems recently each of my visits to Dorney coincide with a major life change, and I always somehow end up reflecting significantly on said change as I ride Talon. I call it my "epiphany coaster".
  16. Prospertown Lake is really looking like its old self lately, too. For a few years there the water table was so low that many parts of it looked like a giant mud pit rather than a lake.
  17. It's really coming together very nicely. Can't wait to see the rest of the details when it's all done!
  18. is he really? Yes.
  19. They're all jojo roll enthusiasts. That's the only logical explanation.
  20. ... I'll trade you this Joker for SFGAdv's Joker! I swear it's a fair trade...
  21. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed! How retro! Nice photos otherwise.
  22. It was a combination of a few factors. There's the youth Catholic group there today, as well as today being a BAFF day. That, combined with today being one of the nicest weekend days in recent weeks, led to today being slammed. When you see Air Jumbo with a line out the queue, Dark Knight filling its outside queue, and Buccaneer's line spilling out of its entrance, you know it's a busy day.
