[NL] Mountain Lion
_IntaMAN_ replied to A.J.'s topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Holy Balls! That looks MAD INSANE! There a chance we'll get to see a full-circuit POV? -
Very nice and interesting read and I hope it's a possibility for the following years, I just wonder what'll be the next park to request a launched coaster from B&M, I have my bet on one of the parks in a big chain (i.e. Six Flags, Cedar Fair) to get the first launched coaster with the launch being completely made from B&M (Hulk's launch isn't B&M correct?).

This was one of the reasons I highly disliked Full Throttle when it was announced. Rumors had it that it was going to be a kick-ass ride which would actually put the terrain of the Mountain to good use, and it would be a LONG ride. But I had my hopes to high and when it was announced, it turned out to be something lower than I expected, and so much hype for something that may have been the greatest coaster in the West, turned out to be a coaster I do not think will give a "kick-ass" experience at all....

Adventuredome Discussion Thread
_IntaMAN_ replied to gisco's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Bummer, I really enjoyed riding Rim Runner when I was younger with my mother. Hopefully will get to Adventuredome next year on my road trip to Wisconsin and ride the new coaster (S&S El Loco, right?) Next year. -
Here's my opinion, I honestly don't care that much when the GP screams on rides, but there comes a point where they over exaggerate and I go, "Shut the f--- up". Like one time on Scream! at SFMM these girls like two rows behind me scrame the WHOLE ride through and I could not wait for the ride to finish 'cuz God so help me, I was about to get ready to sock the insides of those girls out.

Better Theming or More Track
_IntaMAN_ replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I prefer both (I will narrow it down to one at the end), my reasons? Here ya go: THEMEING: To me themeing is cool and very interesting. One of my favorite ride themes at ANY park is Indiana Jones: Temple of the Forbidden Eye (DLR), it really make you feel like you're going on an adventure, Indy style. BTR's queues are pretty cool too (not saying it's the best), but it's really cool walking through those queues themed to the Caped Crusader. Radiator Spring Racers also has kick-ass themeing and IMO, is the best work Disney has done on any of their attractions in a while. TRACK: A good kick-ass ride like Robb mentioned in the beginning is awesome. One of my favorite coasters is California Screamin', simply because it's long and gives you the impression that it'll be over soon when it keeps going on. Same with Maverick, especially when you hit the second tunnel and get launched again, you barely get a break to breath! Narrowing it down to one, I'd prefer a longer, awesome ride. -

I can't wait to see how they will put the track through the keyhole! Certainly will be interesting to watch I'm so glad CP is on my list of out-of-state parks that I will visit this year. This beast just looks phenomenal. -
WOW! GhostRider looked awesome back then, definitely a ride I would go back in time to ride. I really hope KBF can at least refurbish the ride with some topper track because it would be mad insane! I remember riding it when I was younger, and I was pretty scared, but it sure was a hell of a ride! I haven't ridden it in about 5-6 years (it's been closed every time I went back, or had an incredibly long line). I hope to make it to WCB this year and ride it in the front row were at least it can qualify as "good".

What is your favorite Roller Coaster?
_IntaMAN_ replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
STEEL: California Screamin'. Awesome Coaster with lots of potential, and even has airtime! Also makes for an awesome night ride with the lights and all. I absolutely love it (Note: Pic is not mine) WOOD: El Toro. One hell of a coaster and pure airtime goodyness. I wish to ride it again sometime soon in the future, I miss this wooden beast TOP 5 STEEL: California Screamin' (DCA) Superman: Ultimate Flight (SFDK) Xcelerator (KBF) X2 (SFMM) Maverick (CP) TOP 5 WOOD: El Toro (SFGAdv) Tremors (Silverwood) Apocalypse (SFMM) GhostRider (KBF) [iMO this is a pretty fun ride when it has it's good days] Colossus (SFMM) -
Battle of the Manufacturers
_IntaMAN_ replied to vertgforces's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
To me, the choice is obvious, Intamin, Shwarzkopf, B&M, and Premier (in that order). INTAMIN: They've built some of my favorite coasters, and coasters I would love to ride. Bizarro and I305 rank among my top 25 along with Maverick, Xcelerator and California Screamin'. They've built other awesome coasters I wish to ride as well, such as Skyrush, Expedition GeForce and Wallibi's Goliath. SCHWARZKOPF: Awesome manufacturers, especially for those who are fans of Positive G's. Shockwave, Scorpion and Zonga are some coasters that are pleasant and fun. Not too intense, not too gentle. Revolution also would be one of those coasters if it weren't all butchered up. B&M: I rarely dislike most of their coasters. Diamondback, Riddler's, and Batman are very fun coasters to ride and their not aggressive nor too intense. Silver Bullet is one of my favorite inverts and Kumba what's not too love? PREMIER: The have all built coasters that I find awesome, RoTM, Superman: Ultimate Flight, and SkyRocket (I have not ridden yet but looks awesome through the POV's). S:UF at SFDK is just pure glory, and is Cali's answer to an airtime machine IMHO. I loved it and the hangtime is beyond amazing. RoTM is a sweet treat, and very fun for anyone in search for a good coaster. -
According to MTV News, J.J. Abrams is going to direct Star Wars Episode VII... now he rarely disappoints so I have high hopes: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1700760/jj-abrams-star-wars-episode-vii.jhtml

Silverwood Discussion Thread
_IntaMAN_ replied to Damien666's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Seems like a good addition. Not worth going back to the park and visiting just for these rides but it should be a nice addition to Silverwood I also hope for this within the next two years, especially with me doing a mini West Coast tip within the next few years with some buds -
The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
_IntaMAN_ replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was thinking of a crazy idea, why not mix this: With this(?): My conclusion is, the first Intamin 4th Dimmensional Impulse coaster, as you head up the first spike, your seat would flip making you face the ground, and once you came back down your seat would flip a full 360 degree turn heading towards the second spike where this time your seat would flip BACKWARDS making you face up and flip your seat in the air while coming back down. It would do this for a few circuits until the ride ends like a regular impulse coaster. -
Gonna post a review of a few movies I saw: PITCH PERFECT: Exceeded my expectations, this movie was hilarious and the casting was good as well. I thought this movie was gonna be "cheezy" as you would say and not meet my expectations but I was wrong, I really enjoyed it! 9/10 GANGSTER SQUAD: Awesome movie by all means, great cast and awesome story line. I cried near the end (haha I know not very manly of me ) but it was all worth it. 10/10 REALLY looking forward to Iron Man 3 and Star Trek: Into Darkness... They both look like they will be great movies!

WWZ is a series of interviews explaining how people survived " World War Z". Very good book and I recommend it to anyone.

^ Hopefully it won't be like one of those movies that kill their sagas automatically like Indiana Jones 4, Jaws 4, etc. High hopes for that movie though and I hope it doesn't get butchered up.
