There are 2 sides to the walkway, one for regular line, one for Flash Pass. That is the narrowest part of the line and it is as narrow as any of the other Six Flags Magic Mountain queues. The hallway itself from the bottom end to getting on the ride takes 15 minutes. Before the rampway, there is a long entryway that is really wide. Before this, there is a huge canopy where there are temporary barriers for switchbacks. At the entrance to the canopy, it is an hour wait. I confirmed with the park that there will be permanent poles and chains installed for switchbacks under the canopy. Also, there is no entrance sign for the ride.

It is butter smooth. Not a rough spot anywhere. Went to the park and got 1 ride in on FT today just after opening (only a 10 minute wait). Got in line again around 12:15 and there was only an hour wait, but that turned into waiting 2 hours and 30 min. Just to be sent out of line when we would be on the next train. There was a really long delay with the train getting stuck in the tunnel. We did get skip the line passes for Full Throttle to use another day (they now use a computer system and take your name and will give you the passes when at guest relations when you return for your next visit.). Overall great ride. Better than Xcelerator, IMO.

Just got back from the park and MAN was it dead. By about 3, X2 only had a station wait. Longest wait I saw was about 30 minutes for Tatsu. And that is strange.. Because the parking lot was 100% full. There must've been a lot of people at Hurricane Harbor... Riddler and Scream were running 1 train. Also, I saw 1 test run while on the X2 lift, but that is all I saw. Looks to be about the same speed as the videos.

Blue Streak at CP. Ouch!! I thought that thing was gonna kill me! Never riding that thing again. I actually thought Mean Streak wasn't that bad.. Not smooth and not a very good ride but not anywhere near the roughest thing I've ridden either.

Sadly, I can't make it to ANY of the ERT times! Just how my schedule works out.. So I will be riding on Sunday, June 23rd. I can't wait! I'll be there at opening. I'll be at the park tomorrow. I'm deciding where to take my camera to do an update or not. Reply and let me know if you want me to do an update from tomorrow.

Anyone Rode a Slingshot?
SFMMGeek27 replied to ultradude306's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've been on the ones at SFMM and KD. They are good but not worth more than $10-$15 per person. Its definitely worth a try and they are very enjoyable. I loved them. -
Yesterday was a great day at the park! No lines were longer than 30-45 minutes, and Ka was only about 20 minutes all day. They need to learn how to load a flying coaster. Even Tatsu has better operations than Superman. Bizarro also ran 3 trains and double stacked and still had no line. Green Lantern.. Meh, but I do jinks that it's better than Riddler's Revenge. Much smoother. Nitro.. It's good, but Diamondback is better. Great coasters though!

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

^ and ^^ yes both. It was initiated by the ride op and went really slowly to the launch position. Then there were no sound and lights. It was very different. -

Got stuck in TTD this morning on the launch track for about 30 minutes. They pulled back into the station and then maintenance fixed the ride. Something with the cable it looked like. After that, with no test runs, we got a manual launch! That was awesome. The park was more crowded today than it was Saturday and Sunday combined. Sme school group thing going on. But it still wasn't that bad, everything an hour wait at most. Everything was open today too! Oh yeah, and I saw someone with a TPR jacket on about to get on the TTD train. -

I'm at Cedar Point right now and I can tell you that today (Sunday) so far has been much more crowded than yesterday (Saturday). TTD and Power Tower were down today until about 4PM due to wind. Everything else was open all day other than Windseeker, which is testing right now. Maverick had an hour wait this afternoon and Gatekeeper was 75 minutes. Everything else was 30 min. or less. -
Good to see testing begin! Yesterday I got one of the smoothest rides on X2 I've ever had! No headbanging whatsoever! Put the heavier person on the outside and you will be pleasantly surprised. Never ride in a row by yourself and never put the heavier person in the inside. Those are fatal mistakes. Also, parking just went up again to $18.

^^You won't need the flash pass except for maybe Tatsu the first half of the day. The park will be very dead. Only 1 train operations should be at Scream and Apocalypse. If they are only running one anywhere else then it is just because it is not a busy day at the park. As far as I know, nothing new from Friday but you never know. Over by Full Throttle they have the midway construction walls open during the week so you can get a peek at the entire work site. Have a great day at the park!

Had a great day at the park yesterday. I was there from 10-2, and I rode many rides. Ghostrider was closed, and there is no reopening date on Knotts.com. I rode Xcellerator 3 times (one train operation, but still only a 10-15 minute wait max. All day), Boomerang, Riptide, Monezooma's Revenge, Supreme Scream (all had 10 minute wait max.) and then waited out the longest wait of the day for Silver Bullet (2 trains and 20 minute wait, but moving really quickly and rarely stacking). Sidewinder, Jaguar, and Pony Express all had one train operation and really slow loading times, so I decided to skip those. Overall, a not very crowded Saturday at the park. I also enjoyed the 20% discount on food you get at Johnny Rockets and all the other food restaurants with the Platinum Pass.

Hi, everyone. I have a quick question. I'm headed down to Knott's this Saturday to process my platinum pass. I am buying online. Do I have to pay for parking at Knott's on Saturday before I get my pass processed? Also, where do I process my pass? And finally, I will be spending at least 3-4 hours at the park on Saturday. Since I haven't been there in years, I wanted some opinions about what the best rides are and what I should be sure to ride while I'm there. Also, will anything (other than Windseeker and Log Ride) be closed Saturday? Thanks!
