  1. Six Flags has finally learned! They opened the plaza at 10:00 with a single separate gold line that would allow entry at 10:20, with rope drop at 10:30. It worked flawlessly and a lot of people were taking advantage of getting lockers and Flash Passes early, etc. this is also going to be a permanent thing since the spiels at the front gate were updated for this. Also, Full Throttle is back to two trains and X2 is slowly getting its speakers back. Today was a nice quiet day!
  2. ^ I rode it last Saturday as well and it was indeed working them! Train #2 still has speakers but the audio was NOT turned on today. That makes me wanna think that it's gone.
  3. X2 music is gone FOREVER! The newly refurbed train is on the track and it's speakers have been REMOVED. All that is left is an empty space where the speakers were. At least the ride is back to two trains and is smooth again... Nothing else has changed. ^no flash pass needed.
  4. I went yesterday also, and have a completely different story. I got there around noon, and went to Full Throttle first. 15 minute wait, line ended about half way up the ramp. By 3:30 this ride had a one train wait, until about 4:30, when it went back up to 10 minutes or so. Goliath had no line all day, same with most of the other rides. Had no line for Green Lantern around 1:30, but those ops were SLOW! Rode Riddler with 2 other people on the train around 5:20. X2 was not closed due to weather like the park was saying. Around 5PM, a train was cycling around the track with water dummies. This is a brand new train (#1) that just came out of refurb. When I left at 6, there was a guy on top of the lift and they had pulled out the other train (#2). I think that they had just wanted to get back up to two trains for Grad Nite last night. Oh, and sometime in the afternoon Tatsu had a problem as when I rode it around 3:30 it was only running one train with a 15 minute wait with the other one being worked on in the other station.
  5. ^Does that mean tomorrow will be crowded at the park during the day?
  6. Both days will be extremely dead. The following rides as of yesterday had only one train: X2 (both of the others being refurbed) Full throttle (other one being refurbed) Riddler (other two being refurbed) Apocalypse (other one being refurbed) So that might change your plans. Revolution is still closed
  7. Hahahaha! I can't believe that! I thiughh the processors were bad... But not this bad! Wait a minute.... I thought they didn't need processors since they added the biometric finger scanners. Hmmm..... Well the trips just haven't been working out. Looks like I will be able to get out there on Thursday the 15th. And then again on either the 17th or 18th.
  8. Today's trip didn't work out so I will probably head over there Friday afternoon instead. Expect an update then.
  9. Headed to the park on Sunday. Will give a report after.
  10. ^ Very. 90 min+ for the headliners, 60+ for moderately popular coasters, and 30+ for the less popular/not as thrilling coasters. Right in the middle of LA's Spring Break. Good luck if you do go.
  11. Has anyone been up to the park this week? If so, post a report or some photos please! It would be greatly appreciated!
  12. Just looked at SFMM's website and Sky Tower has been removed from the list of attractions. I wonder if it is never going to reopen again? It has looked untouched for months.
  13. Yeah, if was FULL of airtime today! And with only 2 trains the dual station doesn't really help. The lower part of the queue goes way faster but then you get a 30 minute station wait. And it feels like forever. Does the dual station with only 2 trains increase capacity? If love to ride with 3 trains again. And I would've waited til later to ride X2 but I had to leave at 3. But even when I had gotten off at 2 the line had dropped from 85 min to 45 min.
  14. ^^ I rode less than 30 min. After the park opened. ^ I didn't ride Riddler today, so I'm not sure, but I bet they added an 8th row.
  15. I was there today and rode Colossus Backwards. There is a BRAND NEW sign in front of the other side that says "Sorry, this side of Colossus is closed." So maybe they are going to fix up the other side or something. Nice day at the park today... A little busy due to a cheer comp, but not bad. Rides... Namtab - 0 min. wait - 2 trains cycling but only loaded 1 for the first hour or so. Green Lantern - 5 min. wait - Only loading 2 of the 4 cars on the track Colossus - no wait - read above Goliath - 15 min. wait - 2 trains running both with the seatbelts but the ride ops weren't even checking the belts.. strange. Lex Luthor Drop of Doom - 10 min. wait - kept getting stuck halfway up all day. X2 - 85 minute wait - about halfway through the line they randomly started sending empty trains... would've been a 70 min. wait without that. 3rd train is currently being assembled on the transfer. Full Throttle - 45 min wait - The line wasn't even back to the canopy but only ONE train was running and the other train was not on the transfer... nowhere to be found. Tatsu - 30 minute wait - Both stations (2 trains) running... waited longer in the station than I did in the lower queue. New banners for Peppe Le Pew in BBW also. And Scream's second train is back... And the "Green Lantern" Riddler train is back running. The black OTSRs are still on it. Good day with good operations! Plus, the park is looking better and better every time I visit!
  16. Namtab Media Day is today!! So excited to ride the coaster for the first time! Will post an update later today.
  17. I am excited to be attending the Batman Backwards Media Day in Friday! Hoping to get plenty of rides in!
  18. There are not. Same lap bars as before. I was there last night and SO wanted to ride! Really jealous of the cast previews. Hopefully I can make it down for one of the annual passholder previews.
  19. From today's issue of SFMM's newsletter: Season Passholder previews on Batman this and next weekend, and both Batman and Colossus Backwards opening to the public March 22nd!
  20. I love the Beast's tunnels at night. So amazing.
  21. Nobody's even there on days it's closed. So no, they don't do anything. Their policy is "No rainchecks".
  22. No, because there's no way for them to tell if the tickets were bought for that day or not. They aren't dated, so yeah.
  23. ^If the park is open during the day before it's closed, the park will give out comp tickets. If the park isn't opening at all, they do nothing. If you're one of the 10 people crazy enough to still visit in this weather, then there's nothing they can do since the tickets are valid for the rest of the 2014 season. The park will be open on Sunday. I'm going Sunday the 9th for an update.
  24. Anyone planning on visiting the park this weekend should think again. It's pouring rain and will be all weekend. The park won't even open in this weather.
