  1. I wish a Mega-Lite would be built in the US so I could ride one. Great report, by the way
  2. A monorail would be too large scale in my opinion for a small/medium sized park like Holiday World. A Chance SkyQuest is small but would look cool above the water park.
  3. I'll be visiting WOF next year and am both excited and nervous to hide "Steel Hawk".
  4. Mexico actually sounds like a fun place to visit.
  5. That is kind of terrifying. It's probably good you didn't accept the offer.
  6. Any ride themed to Bat Bat is a win in my opinion
  7. The ride itself doesn't look bad but just very boring. I don't know if it was just the video, but at some points it looked like if you put your hands out you would've touched the mountain.
  8. I can't wait until RMC has a coaster in every park across the world. Their designs are unique and crazy and the rides are smooth and very photogenic.
  9. A Chance Rides SkyQuest would be awesome above the waterpark.
  10. So how long does a wooden coaster take to put up versus a steel one? I'd think a wooden one because of all the pieces, but is that true?
  11. I heard we were going to get the Dark Knight coaster, but American Thunder didn't get approved at SFNE so it was sent here and Dark Knight went there (and eventually got sent to SFM). I guess for once the park had a bit of good luck.
  12. Wow! A roller coaster, dark ride, and water ride all in one. I forgot this was even being built, but it looks pretty awesome.
  13. God, City Walk seems to be adding some good new food choices. Has anyone tried out the new pizza place there?
  14. It's sad that this is funny yet true at the same time.
  15. I love reading through trip reports of Cedar Point, especially since I hope to go their for my first time next year.
  16. The story about the lady at SFM taking you back to the kitchen is just awesome. I would never think something like that would happen in the US, even in the friendliest parks.
  17. I mean, I could care less what color they paint T2 (well, as long as they don't paint it all bright pink/red). And I really don't care if the ride is that rough, because they already have two good coasters coming in 2014, and hopefully a RMC version of Twisted Twins in 2016.
  18. Elaborate? Kings Dominion is using their entire 50th anniversary to celebrate the park's past by changing names back to their old names and adding old characters/animatronics. Knott's Berry Farm has used this season and the upcoming season to refresh their old classic attractions with brand-new animatronics. Kings Island is renaming Flight Deck to their past ride "The Bat".
  19. Is SFMM the worst park in the chain at this point? I mean, no other park seems to have as many negative reviews.
  20. I saw clips of Ignite online and it was just... bad looking. The plotline was strange, I mean what does the Chicago Fire have to do with singing and dancing to today's pop songs? Plus the singing I heard was worse than the average theme park singing. But it was probably slightly better in person. I agree with the Glow in the Park Parade comments. That parade was amazing. I saw both SFSTL's and SFGAM's and they were both high-quality, especially for Six Flags parks. And then both parks got rid of them for no apparent reason. I mean, they were always bragging about how long it took to create the floats and how expensive they were, and then they only use them for 2-3 seasons.
  21. Despite being to SDC six times before this past weekend, Saturday was my first time having the cinnamon bread, and it was like warm, sweet heaven. The amount of lights SDC puts up is freaking awesome. No corner of the park is left unlit.
  22. Every RMC creation looks awesome and rides amazingly. Medusa looks to be one of the best so far.
  23. I think I looked a little too far into the "juicy and woodsy" comment. It turns out the new attraction for 2015 will be a dark ride called "Happy the Elf's Juice Factory of Death". The ride vehicles will float in a river of grape juice, with cups provided to the guests so they can dip them into the juice and get a free drink. At first the riders will float past cheerful elves working their daily jobs, but suddenly the elves will turn out to be sinister, evil creatures. Riders will narrowly avoid saws dangling from the ceilings, bursts of flames, and streams of the elve's acid urine.
  24. Wildfire at Silver Dollar City, which I believe will be my final coaster of 2013
  25. Green track with black supports or vice versa would look nice.
