Our park really hasn't gotten a family flat ride since 1987 (Rush Street Flyer). While a Aqua Twist won't bring in insane amounts of people, it adds a ride our park needed. We need a place where families can just spend an hour playing. These rides where people can shoot the people on the ride are great ideas and will be a nice addition.

Mini trip-report from Sunday: We got to the park around noon. Parking was only up to around the 8 signs. We headed for Hurricane Harbor, and Hurricane Bay went down for some reason. So we headed to Tornado then ate lunch and then went back again. Both rides were walk-ons. Wahoo Racer and Big Kahuna were both walk-ons as well. So were the tube slides (we did all four). Then we rode the lazy river twice in a row without getting off. We then finished our water park trip with about an hour and a half in the wave pool. We walked on Ninja and then walked-on Batman and rode six times without getting off. I really wish we could have stayed longer, since it was the least crowded day I've ever had at the park, but it was fun nonetheless.

This has to be true. Unless the mayor is lying/joking or the newspaper made it up (which I highly doubt), there is no reason this would be false. Six Flags wouldn't make this up for publicity, because I doubt they'd think we'd rather see a Full Throttle-clone than a RMC wicked creation. They wouldn't joke about putting up an amazing ride and then put up an okay (but not as good) ride.

I think guests in the park would notice a similarity. If Six Flags were to put in an Aqua Twist in 2014 then a big ride in 2015, followed by a Splash Battle in 2016, even the GP would be able to see that they are both slow moving water rides where you battle people on and off the ride. Personally, I'd rather see a splash battle themed to the desert in Hannibarrels spot and have Tidal Wave stay.

I don't care who does it, I just want Holiday World to find a company that can make Voyage a smooth, world-class coaster. -

I've loved every Batman clone I've ever rode. I'd love for Banshee to have those forces! Everytime my home park's Batman (SFStL) coaster pulls into the breaks my jaw is open and I'm just staring at my friends in amazement, and I've been rideing that coaster for 12 years. I love Batman too. The only other ride in the park that has as many forces is American Thunder with its extreme airtime. -
Well hopefully there is a new big ride coming if the park is expanding. All the flats/smaller coasters that have come in the past uears have taken the place of old attractions, so hopefully this is a ride that was too big to create anything else. Either way I'm glad that they have decided to expand.
