The photo caption annoyed me the most
They compare two completely unrelated coasters just to try to prove their point that all coasters are dangerous. There is no reason to include a sentence about the SFOT incident.
Edit- Nope. This sentence annoyed me the most:
How many times do enthusiasts have to point out that NTAG's restraints don't click
The switch track will move to the center of the station, line up with the coaster track, and after the ride is over, it'll scoot back to one side of the station, just like Mr. Freeze does.
It's not really a waterpark ride. Wet rides, like Tsunami Soaker, Log Flume, and Tidal Wave, are good to have inside the regular park so that on hot days guests have a way to cool off without having to go all the way to Hurricane Harbor.
Edit: Oops. Post above mine sums it up in a sentence.
Elevators like that aren't too expensive. According to a quick Google search, home models are in the $2000-4000 range. I wouldn't expect the one they got to be too much more than that. A ramp would have fit but it would have been cramped.
It doesn't surprise me at all SFOG is introducing this event. I was wanting to do a trip down last winter and was shocked to find out they didn't have a Holiday in the Park event. Hopefully the light display looks at least somewhat like the concept art.
Is this on set to open Memorial Day? There is still a lot of work to be done, but I'm not a construction professional so I have no clue how much time it'll take to complete the park.
