  1. At the park today. Tsunami Soaker is fully constructed but the queue and area around the ride are still a work in progress.
  2. Cedar Fair Edit: Meant to type "Cedar Point" Oops....
  3. From Kings Dominion thread:
  4. Just got back from Muppets Most Wanted. The songs were really good and some of the jokes were pretty funny. Not as good as the one from 2011, but it is still a decent film.
  5. I would say very front. The sensation of speed is higher, nothing blocking your view which means it is terrifying to look over the drop, it seems to be a tiny bit smoother in the front not that outlaw run is rough you just feel the track segments less. Best way to ride is hands up all the way through, not much if a technique to do because of the shin bar. Have to agree. You can't go wrong with any of the rows on Outlaw Run, but the front seat is the best. On a rainy day the lines were so short that I got two rides in a row in the front seat and they were the best I've had. The back is pretty good as well though.
  6. Why were only half the rides opened? Hopefully they'll have the problem fixed soon since I'll be going tomorrow. But Opening Day is rough at almost any park, so I'm sure SFSTL knows what went wrong and is doing their best to correct it.
  7. This past year my family purchased season passes and began to frequently visit Silver Dollar City, mostly due to the fact that Outlaw Run looked super amazing. Since we got a really nice camera around Labor Day, we got some really good pictures from the last three festivals of the year. These aren't really trip reports, they are just pretty good pictures of the park and its attractions throughout the year. Here is a look at our October visit, which took place during the National Harvest Festival. We also took a trip to the Showboat Branson Belle. The beginning of a rainy front-row seat on the park's famous RMC, Outlaw Run. About to descend the amazing first drop Speeding through the Twist & Turn through the lift hill Our stagecoach arrives back in the beautifully themed station. Later that night we returned for our second voyage of of the year on the Showboat Branson Belle. The host/comedian/magician introduces the ShowMen, an a capella group. The stunning Janice Martin is an amazing violinist. And she also plays the piano. And she sings. And she does an aerial act...while playing the violin. In order words, she is one of the most talented people on the planet you've never heard of. The amazing show ends with a gospel and patriotic melody. Make sure to see the "Made in the USA- Blue" if you are in Branson this year as 2014 will be its final season.
  8. Granted, but Expedition GeForce is down for maintenance your entire visit. I wish I owned all the REAL money in the world.
  9. I'm wondering if The Bat could end up connected to the Haunted Hill pathway.
  10. This is very interesting. Thanks for sharing your amazing story with us
  11. That's not a pic of a seatbelt from Outlaw Run, it is just a picture that popped up when I Googled "Intamin seatbelt". But there are the same type of seatbelt.
  12. Thanks The pictures are a lot better because of three reasons: 1) these newer ones were taken with a FAR superior camera, 2) the lens on this camera is a lot cleaner than the one on the older camera, and 3) these were taken by my mom who used to have a job at a portrait studio Next installment with photos of the Harvest Festival and Showboat Branson Belle coming soon!
  13. These are what the new seatbelts on Outlaw Run look like:
  14. Here is a look at our Labor Day visit, which I believe took place during the Southern Gospel Festival. Here is a shot of Outlaw Run from the train. Another shot of Outlaw Run. We ran into some totally unexpected train robbers along the way The saloon girls aren't too hard on the eyes. But the scene stealer of the show is undoubtedly Charlie. The entire cast of the 2013 show, which features Mean Murphy as the villain. Up the lift hill on Silver Dollar City's B&M coaster, Wildfire. Through the Immelman and loop.... the cobra roll.... and into the corkscrew. The next day one of the first attractions to open was the Lost River. To close the report, a picture of Powder Keg about to head down its final drop after its lift hill.
  15. Disney Cruises look amazing. They are probably worth the cost, but right now my family doesn't have enough money to go on one . One day I will get on one though.
  16. Granted, but it is dead. I wish I had all the money in the world.
  17. Superman: Ultimate Flight
