  1. If the park sold off all the land that isn't being occupied they'd still have lots of room for expansion. The park would still own the land where the Fright Fest hayride goes and the area around that. That land could eventually be used IF any large sized coaster came to SFSTL.
  2. False The person below me has an iPhone
  3. True The person below me has not ridden any wing coasters
  4. Glad to see the park adding an adult flat ride that (hopefully) isn't an upcharge. Should be pretty popular.
  5. ^Don't complain. An hour of homework is nothing. Wait til you get to high school.
  6. So the ride will be getting a new color scheme, right?
  7. Well if it is Sparkler then I wonder what will go in its old spot. Doesn't seem very Holiday World-ish to leave a concrete pad very visible to the public empty. New restaurant, maybe?
  8. ^I'm still confused why the park "deserves" a new coaster so badly. Sure it's been a while since the last one but you guys have 3 of the best coasters in the chain and you just got the world's tallest drop tower. There are lots of parks in the chain that "deserve" a new coaster. SFSTL and SFA, for example.
  9. Mockingjay (the book) was just plain boring. The movie held my attention the entire time, and it's probably my favorite in the series. A lot of people were bored by the politics/revolution themed plot, rather than the survival/war theme of the first two films, but I liked it.
  10. All of my family and close friends know about my obsession with coasters. It's not something I go bragging about and I don't go off spouting off random facts, but I don't hide it.
  11. Favorite Intamin- Millennium Force Favorite B&M- Hulk
  12. Well, Disney turned Song of the South into Splash Mountain. Beat that, Universal!
  13. Big Hero 6 was pretty good. Had great pacing with no real dull moment and the villain's way of getting around was super cool. And Baymax was awesome, of course. The animation was possibly the best I've seen. Disney stepped outside of their box and really hit a home run, I think I still like Frozen a bit better, but the two are just so different it's hard to compare the two. Feast was great as well. Just as good as Paperman, which I loved. Also, I could definitely see a sequel to Big Hero 6. I'm guessing they're already discussing it over at the studios. Would be a better choice than Frozen 2. Like I said, I loved the first one, but a sequel is not needed.
  14. I still don't get the hype about Zippers. I rode one at a local fair and I don't think we flipped or went upside down once. I'm hoping it was either just the certain one we were on or maybe it was our weight (I'm a lot heavier than my sister who rode with me) but I doubt that second one would make any difference. Either way, our ride on it was really really boring.
  15. Batman could easily be assembled within a month considering it has a compact footprint and isn't that long. Thunderbird weaves through the forest, and being B&M's first launch coaster, I'm sure they'll want to test it for a while. And there's also the fact that I'm guessing their target opening day is Memorial Day (this is Six Flags, of course), while Holiday World's is late April or early May, I can't remember.
  16. Nice pictures. Was at the park Thanksgiving weekend as well. The parade this year was pretty awesome and much more professional looking than the older one, although that one was good too. Yeah, last year on the same weekend we had to park in a giant grass field owned by the park behind a bank. They did run shuttles though so parking there wasn't that bad.
  17. So is the only way to get presents sending characters on tasks to the Toy Factory?
  18. That rumor has been around forever. I doubt it'll happen considering it got a fresh coat of paint not too long ago.
  19. I've passed by the Titanic attraction in Branson several times and after seeing this report I am wanting to visit it. Does anybody know if it's the same company that does all these exhibits, or are they all independently operated?
  20. It will be nice to have a ride next to Thunderbird. I'm thinking it could be the flying scooters (I'm blanking on their name right now), but I could be wrong.
  21. Thunder Run- Kentucky Kingdom
  22. This may be a dumb question, but why do all of the coasters have their trains removed while Pipe Scream's is just shrink-wrapped and left on the track. I know it's not a real coaster, but doesn't it still need it's wheels replaced at the very least?
  23. Every time I see another picture of Thunderbird I get more excited to ride it. And wow, THREE weeks ahead of schedule?! That's insane.
