  1. Flying Tires was essentially a bumper car ride without sudden "bumps", or at least that's what it looked like to me. I'm sure whatever replaces it will be an improvement.
  2. I was getting hopeful for this one, but it seems to be extremely rushed and horribly designed. The only improvement I see is the new coaster construction system, everything else seems to be a gigantic step down from RCT3.
  3. I attended HoliWood Nights last year, and lines were pretty short all weekend, and even shorter during the event. This year, I'm kinda upset because the event was so small and had such short waits last year, but it seems like every enthusiast in the nation is gonna try and be there this year, which is great for the park, but will mean big lines during the event.
  4. They don't. But to be honest I don't think they need one. Wildebeest and Mammoth are the only rides that ever seem to have lines over an hour. Then again, Thunderbird could change that.
  5. OMFG that barn ride is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. God this game is going to be terrible. Lol
  6. The same people who complain about Silver Bullet "ruining" the area it's in are probably the same people complaining about the park's lack of a hyper or giga coaster towering overheard.
  7. Well if the wands work, they are supposed to interact with the lights in the parade and actually turn them different colors, from what I believe. But yeah, the hats and other things do nothing, really, unless everybody has one.
  8. Wouldn't count on it. I don't think that many people will ever see that list. It has the potential to be an AMAZING addition, but I agree. There are huge coasters that could be some of the best ever built next year. What's even funnier is that a parade beat out most of the competition.
  9. I agree with your point about cheap hotels- but they better be GOOD, quality hotels with a GOOD breakfast. I do not want to pay $130 for a hotel when I only spend one night. It's important that a theme park visitor gets a good night sleep and good breakfast before going on some heart-pounding rides! Santa's Lodge was only $80 a night for ClubTPR members last year. They changed the deal for 2015. It's over $100 even with the discount.
  10. The block brake doesn't have to be there all the time, it may only end up being used in emergencies. The thing about that, though, is that there is a chain lift right after it, so why would you need a block brake for emergencies as well? The blue side train wouldn't be able to detach from its lift hill until the green side was already detached. A block break would allow them to detach at the same time.
  11. The block brake doesn't have to be there all the time, it may only end up being used in emergencies.
  12. Disneyland Forever looks amazing! It's going to be so cool to see most of the park covered in projections. I'm hoping something like it will pop up at WDW sometime soon.
  13. Not sure if this is sarcasm or not...but this subject has been beaten to death with what seems like for over a decade. Parks like Magic Mountain, Cedar Point, and others that are basically in the middle of nowhere, ARE FREAKING HUGE AND ARE NOT GOING TO RUN OUT OF ROOM. Period! There is so much space, in so many places, they can weave coasters anywhere, some older coasters will eventually be removed, there is plenty of parking, the list goes on and on. Maybe some of you bring it up because it's fun to talk about, but unless the park is confined to a very limited perimeter like Disneyland, Cedar Point is NOT going to run out of room! Um...the park is on a peninsula. Pretty much all of it is full.
  14. The concept for the ride is one of the most original and fun ones I've heard of before. Hopefully the execution is there, however, looking at how Wonder Mountain turned out, I'm hoping this one will be a step up.
  15. Not to interrupt the conversation but I've been thinking about this. Now, I'm sure they wouldn't do this anytime in the next decade, but once the park completely runs out of room, would it be possible for the parking lot to be relocated off the peninsula and then have shuttle buses bring guests to the park? With the new entrance plaza I know this won't happen for a long long long time, I just thought it was an interesting idea. Is there an area right next to the road the leads to the peninsula that could hold a parking lot/garage or not?
  16. Thunderbird blueprint came in a few days ago!
  17. ^Or it could be a deliberate leak by CP to distract enthusiasts from other rumors. Either one is possible.
  18. Because your favorite coaster IS dumb. Why can't donkeys fly?
  19. This may be a dumb question but why would you go through the entire design process and make a big announcement without even knowing if you'd get permission to build it.
  20. I do think Justice League will be one of the best dark rides in the world (outside of Disney and Universal, of course). I wish that the park publicly told people the reason for the removal of Scooby though. From the comments on all of SFSTL's social media accounts ("OMG why is Scooby gone?", "I loved Scooby, what is this?!"), it is apparent that the GP don't realize the condition that Scooby was in. Either way, I know that once people ride Justice League, they'll (hopefully) shut up.
  21. Agreed, agreed, agreed! It may look shady on the outside (and the inside), but the wings are amazing. We went 2 or 3 times alone our past trip.
  22. ^^I find it hard to believe the crew at Holiday World would purchase a park just to run it into the ground. Especially one like KK which needed (and still needs) a lot of work.
  23. I refuse to answer any questions about 'Cuda Falls. Why do I have to go back to school tomorrow? Can't we honor another historical figure and have a holiday?
