Ooh, pretty. Looks similar to Time Traveler's seats, and those are very comfortable. -

Oh cool, that's a good move for them. Right across the street from Castaway Bay, so they can probably tie it in with some of the amenities offered there. -

Agreed. Progress is looking good! That's a nice placement for Doo Wopper. -
Knoebels Discussion Thread

You say that like you think Knoebels has a plan for where they place rides. -
It's fine. Although there is certainly such a thing as a dumb question, none of these are dumb questions. You can reserve Maxpass for both parks from either park as soon as you activate your ticket at either park. You get a handstamp when leaving one park and going to the other, that part's easy. I've never left DCA before opening then stood in line for Disneyland...not sure how they'd feel about that or if you'd have to stay in DCA until official opening.

Okay, without an early entry ticket, you have two options: 1) Go to DCA first; you can get in there 30 minutes early (just to the Carthay Circle area until rope drop) and theoretically should be able to get a Maxpass reservation. I say theoretically because last time I was there was before Maxpass, but from what I read, it should be possible once you're through the gates. 2) Get a breakfast reservation for the Plaza Inn. They'll let you in the gate early and you go straight to the restaurant, where again, theoretically you should be able to make a Maxpass reservation.

Does anyone know if this is the case with both extra magic hour and magic morning? I didn't realize until now that these are two different things but apparently Friday is just an extra magic hour day. The basic difference is that the Magic Morning is only at Disneyland. If you have a three-day or longer ticket, you can get in once. Early Magic Hour is just for resort guests, and is offered at both parks, alternating between the two. On days that have Magic Morning, Early Magic Hour is offered at the same time. They should scan your ticket and allow you to get in for Magic Morning if you have a qualifying ticket. They'll ask you for a hotel key only if you try to get into an Early Magic Hour and not a Magic Morning, or if your ticket doesn't qualify.

Ultimately, "my group" has no say who can buy season passes and enter the park because I don't work for Six Flags. I respect the way that you see behavior as it relates to individuals, but in my opinion it's a different story when you're talking about public places like theme parks, especially with a company that has bad history with guest safety and gang violence at its parks. But honestly it's not a problem until it's a problem, other than drunk people punching Daffy Duck there isn't any reason for the park to be concerned. I just hope it doesn't ever become an issue. Can we move on now, please? I think we can agree on that, definitely.

Now let's not get off into the realm of identity politics here. People are not defined by one behaviour. Saying a behaviour is morally objectionable is not the same as saying a person is morally objectionable. Those are worlds apart. Let's make clear what exactly was objectionable about the original statement: That "those types of people" should not be allowed to do a thing. It shows thinking of groups rather than individuals and a sense that's one's own group should control another group's access. Those things are morally wrong. I hate that I have to spell out something so obvious, but people are confused about this point.

Awesome! Glad they found a way to keep the attraction and still pay attention to the psychological impact of stereotypes. -
What do you mean by "those types of people"? Please elaborate. I want to hear your answer to that. *crickets* And to reply to the others in this thread: It was implied by multiple people that low season pass prices allow for criminals to enter the park. This sentiment is brought up time and time again in this thread and I frankly was getting tired of it. My apologies if I seemed too aggressive in my response. Oh no, not too aggressive at all. Prozach simply pointed out a laughable situation, and Chris went and dragged it down into bare minimum classism if not outright racism. These days we've got to be aggressive with that sh*t.
