Wow, it's been so long since I've heard those words. And what makes it even better is that it's for something Texas did!
But yeah, this ride does look very fun. I've been meaning to get back to San Antonio, and with this, Iron Rattler, and Switchback Railway all new to me, I may just have to do it.
It's not a wing coaster. If you're looking from the front row of Thunderation, the top floor on the left side is the station platform, and there's a cutout for the track. Wing coaster track is bolted to the floor at the same level as the platform, not below the platform. This will be a ride above the track coaster.
I feel like Gerstlauer engineers are perfectly capable of understanding the concept of clearance envelopes. I would not expect anyone to be injured on this ride, regardless of restraints.
Yes, fetuccini's wider. I'm partial to radiatori myself, holds a red sauce perfectly.
On a related note, going to see Alton Brown this weekend at the Fabulous Fox in St. Louis--super excited!
Are you a fan of Alton Brown?
That boat trip was a highlight. They took us around a lot of the Lake Erie islands as well as around the peninsula, and it sounds like they're going to be doing the same deal this year. Everyone I talked to enjoyed the boat, and when it gets going, it's fast too!
^ That's a really cool event. Have fun! I did it a couple of years ago, and they didn't have the 10k that year. Looking at the website, it appears the 10k will be 2 laps of the 5k circuit.
How cool--they have a picture of me on American Thunder (I'm in the bench by myself, 4th from the back):
On the next episode, we'll show you how to use PB blaster to break loose old hose clamps, clean shotguns, use as a sexual lubrication, and resurrect Jesus Christ. Stay tuned...
That is too much!
Sweet, good move. Coastermania day is long enough you can actually ride everything, but for re-rides, yeah, you're going to be glad you got the Fastlane. Cedar Point is such a fun place, way too much to do there.
Yes, back in the 90s I used to go once a year when they did the bring a Coke can, get in for $20 special.
Have you participated in any track and field sports?
