  1. There were monkey fighting snakes on that Monday to Friday train. Sam Jackson took care of the problem, but...er...it needs repairs now.
  2. Wow, I didn't pay much attention to it until now, but that lounge is fantastic. So many good things. Although the "you can only order this drink from this one specific room" is just so California. I'm sure that appeals to somebody, but being from the Midwest, it just seems ridiculous. But really all of Pixar Pier looks...incredible.
  3. I wonder if they've ever asked Wyndham for a rebranding? It's all based on amenities, and not the actual quality of the hotel, which is why Wyndhams can vary a lot based on the individual franchisee. Could be a case where they don't want to offer one thing that would qualify them as a Days. Could also be they don't want the higher expectations that come with a higher tier of branding. Hotel customers can be just the worst, so setting those expectations low and then blowing them away is actually kinda genius.
  4. Ninja is a Vekoma ride with Arrow trains. It's an Arrow designed, Vekoma built ride with Arrow trains that is so bad that it qualifies as worst Arrow, worst Vekoma, and somehow worst peanut butter and banana sandwich. There may have been a mixup with the awards envelopes.
  5. Oh wow, is there a sequel? Great Escape looks pretty fun. It's a park I haven't heard too much about, but it looks nice and has some good looking rides. Thanks for sharing!
  6. Steel Hawg (because Indiana) is very smooth and a lot of fun. If you haven't been on an S&S El Loco, go. The others I would consider tolerable but I also consider Boss tolerable, so don't take my word for it. Oh and they make those tacos with ketchup. I'm not shedding a tear as long as they don't touch Fascination.
  7. I loved staying on site. If you like camping at all, just rent a tent site. They have a really great campground, and it's a 5-10 minute walk to the park.
  8. That JB's is not ok. I don't care if they have 10 coasters named Goliath that are all very different from each other, but you just don't do that to the chain's star attraction.
  9. Who wants photo evidence that they were at Dorney anyway?
  10. Tokyo Disney is the best way to finish off a great trip.
  11. It's just that Seven Dwarves has the swinging cars that makes it different. As for the other two, how dare you bring up non-American coasters? Just watched videos of those two, and they look great, and I now want to go to there. Thanks!
  12. STL Metro is about 3 million actually, including Illinois Metro East. We don't count those losers in Illinois.
  13. Okay, that's genuinely exciting. I love mine trains like Coasterbill loves log flumes. I might legit plan a Vegas trip around that.
  14. Okay, you got me there. I have spent an inordinate amout of time trying to be clever on this site, and I'm like 20% successful at it. But in my defence, those 20% are golden.
  15. Wasn't Thunderation the last mine train in 1993? I can't think of a newer one than that. And yes, I know about Seven Dwarves, it's not the same thing. Pretty sure the mine train died with Arrow.
  16. No, but if it asks its doctor, it's totally treatable.
  17. I believe that's just online purchases. In park purchases can be used day of. I could be wrong, I'm in the same boat as you, planning a first time trip and looking to purchase a VIP.
  18. What? They literally just put in that brand new patch of grass, and they're taking it out already?
  19. Huh? ... All that research, and couldn't be bothered to click that link, huh?
  20. I don't know man. I rode El Toro twice today. It that air is a lie then I don't want to know the truth.
  21. Oh man, that's rough. Heat is nothing to f*ck around with. We have 100 degree heat indeces for a couple months straight every July and August, so we know how to deal with it, but we still have a couple of fatalities every summer. Glad they got y'all to first aid. Assuming it's air conditioned, that's the best place for you to be.
  22. Just watched a video of Witches Stew. That may be too spinny for me. I'll have to see it in person I think. Cool to see such an outpouring of positivity for this park though. I honestly didn't expect it.
