  1. Orlando -Fun Spot -Universal Studios -Sea World -Disney World Los Angeles -Knott's -Magic Mountain -Dinseyland Northeast -At least 10 good sized parks between Boston and D.C
  2. Double Interlocking corkscrews. Much better than 4 heartline rolls to be honest. Hmm. I don't think the plug-n-play works that way, by just slapping it down ontop of an existing structure. That track type is very unique, and unlike topper track (which is just a thicker steel panels ontop of the existing thinner steel panel), it is built around the structure iteslf. The whole plug-n-play woodie is built like an erector set, the wrong piece won't fit(I know this is true for any coaster, but it's even more true with something like this). So putting something like that on an old woodie wouldn't probably work out. But Hey, I'm just an enthusiasts what do I know. Yes to the vekoma, no to the arrow. Magnum XL-200 is doing fabulous with those old school arrow trains, I don't see why the park would spend money on something that is not needed. If it's not broke, don't fix it.
  3. There is no comparison. RCT all the way though! The only way RCT & thrillville are similar is that you can build rides and operate your own park, and that's just in VERY a general sense. Other than that they are WORLDS apart. RCT is more of the fully customizable theme-park builder with the more finer details. Thrillville focuses HEAVILY On mini-games, and also the social scene, and barely anything else.
  4. They would make so much money! I want to ride it, not for the credit, just to see how it rides (it is Intamin's first coaster).
  5. A bit off topic, but thought I'd still share. Google just updated their 45* angle view, now available for Cedar Point. (August 2012) Clicky Clicky for Direct Link.
  6. An inclined pretzel-like loop....... This could provide some very unique forces!
  7. Pony express. Great ride. (Or really ANY coaster at KBF.) I will never understand WHY it was built. It's like management just couldn't say NO and just had to put in another coaster, no matter how lame the layout. It just barely fits, and has a very odd layout. This should of been left on the drawing board. Definition of doing to much. Just thinking about the location of it give me a headache. The exact same thing can be said about Silver Bullet. They should of made it 40m tall and gave it a Talon/Banshee/BTR style drop. A more compact and exiting layout could of been made. Instead of making it to drawn out and forceless. It could of easily fit in a much smaller footprint (see below), if CF didn't decide to go so over-the-top. (The cobra roll completely destroys the atmosphere! In general, the whole ride does, but the CR especially.) With a more restrictive and slimmer midways below the ride, and covered paths (similar to Timber Mountain facades). This area could of been done so much better. Instead of spending more on the giant coaster they could of done less and gotten so much more.
  8. Yeah, that obviously has something to do with wonder mt.
  9. I'm starting to think this isn't a new "Attraction" at all. It looks like a picture of a renovated Hotel Breakers to be honest. Especially with that blue dot, which seems to be the old Oceania Stadium. This picture seems to focus more on the Hotel Breakers (where it is centered). If not that than I can see some type of new / expanded Planet snoopy adjacent to Scrambler & Matterhorn, with the removal of Kiddy Kingdom. (Some newer flats could really utilize that space, maybe with a Vekoma Suspended Family coaster. Who Knows!? ) Either way, this has something to do with the H. Breakers. EDIT: And if the Dark Ride rumors are accurate, this building may be the location. Just my 2c.
  10. BEST B&M: Raptor Tatsu Batman-The Dark Knight Intamin: Xcelerator Millennium Force (I was pleasently suprised by the amount of airtime ) Bizarro GCI: Prowler Troy (seen but never been, I just love the layout!) Thunderhead WORST B&M: Mantis (Stand up's should never have QDC) Vortex (both). Silver Bullet (I feel as if it was designed to have as little force as possible. Inverts are not meant to be family coasters ) Intamin Green Lantern (how much crack do you have to smoke to design something so terrible?) Superman: The Escape (restraints killed any and all airtime). To be fair, I have not ridden the newer version. Which I'm sure is quite better. GCI Gwazzi (there is nothing else like it) With a park/state that has so many great coasters , this one seems even more out of place.
  11. 1. Inverts 2. Wing 0. Stand Up (eww )
  12. ^I know. I'm just so bored with the demo. I made this in about 45min. I just want to know if the full version is any different or more time consuming?
  13. Probably not as fast as Mr. Freeze, but certainly faster than the regular top hats.
  14. Magnum XL-200. Still delivers on that great airtime!
  15. Okay, so I'm thinking about pruchasing this simulator. How long does it take to design your average coaster(no custom supports)? Something small like this or this.
  16. I meant something like this.
  17. That rope is more reliable than anything made by Intamin. It's a better replacement in my opinion.
  18. And if it stalls... Inverted top hats exist (see: Mr. Freeze and the Chillers from SFGAdv), and it isn't a problem - and they make it over twice each go-around. The only reason the accelerators stall is because their launched to a speed that's just fast enough to crest the top, otherwise it'd be way uncomfortable. You can apply a lot more positive Gs to the body than you can negative, so inverted top hats are fine to be taken at higher speeds that don't allow the train to stall. Yep, that's exactly what I was getting at (Mr. Freeze). But one at 200+ feet. Worlds tallest inversion, the first inversion to top 200', and the worlds tallest looping coaster. I'm not so sure about that. The B&M Floorless coasters have a narrower track than the Wing coasters. Maybe one coaster with the Dive Machine Trains and the Winged train would work. A winged coaster with a 90 degree drop!!!! If they could figure out a way to modify the chassis, I'm sure it could work. I don't see how a full-length wing coaster train could work on a dive machine drop. The sharpness of the drop would probably tear a wing coaster train apart(but at least you'd get some crazy ejector air before you die ). If it were to have a 90* drop, the sharpness of the drop would have to be less (which would most likely call for the coaster to be much taller so it can comfortably & efficently achieve a 90* angle) or the trains would have to be shortened. And for a winged train, the capacity would be very low.
  19. An accelerator coaster (Stealth/Xcelerator) with an inside Top-hat. I can see one of these newer chinese parks going for something like this. It launches , and inverts (worlds tallest) which would get their name out there. Kills two birds with one stone.
  20. A B&M coaster that runs two different trains. Floorless & Wing. It could be done!
  21. ^Nice scenery. I like inverts with enclosed surroundings. To whom it may concern: Is it ok to make a new thread for all the little mini-projects of mine? I know you can just show them off in the preview thread, but I want to be more extensive than that. And I don't want to just keep creating multiple new threads. :/ help A.J. says: I've answered your question, check your private messages.
