  1. Lovely, a park to compete with Valley Hills. Overall, things look well. Market Fresh Goods and Center Street Eats have that classic old-fashion, small-town amusement park feel to them. There's character in that architecture. However, the Happy Mountain and Little Jumper models didn't exist until 1977 and late 1990's respectively.
  2. Twisted Beehive looks awesome! I really like the look of Alpine Cafe and Boardwalk Eats. I'm suspecting a Huss swinging ship. No, I'm nearly certain.
  3. Hmm. Sounds like a bunch of bad financial decisions to me. If you have millions to expend on a park, you should at least have a safety net to keep you from going bankrupt so soon. I doubt anyone would buy a half-baked, pricey investment like this. However, I still wish the best of luck for finding new ownership.
  4. YESS!!! Keep this park going!! I was beginning to worry that another great park would cease so soon.
  5. Interesting. I've never heard of Rocky Point, but it's great to a restoration project. Temple of Poseidon look stunning from what I can see. I absolutely LOVE heavily themed water rides. I'm intrigued as to what the parks flat ride lineup will be like. I'm guessing the B&M is either a floorless or a wing. Either sounds great!
  6. Millennium Force. Night time, in the rain. Pins and needles.
  7. Saturday, September 29, 2007 David Trust - park spokesperson Today marks the last operating day of the 2007 season. And with this season coming to a close, we also say goodbye to Valley Hills' iconic Déjà Vu roller coaster. It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, but the ride hasn't been in operation since the 2006 season due to mechanical issues. We here at Valley Hills wish it the best of luck at its new home in China. Hmmm....what could this mean? "Eh!? Jim-boy, that's them flying machines!" Elsewhere in the park, construction has gone into overdrive! Chaos had to close early this season due to all the commotion. This must be serious! The Cardinal personal storage facility will be relocated elsewhere next season. Whatever is being built requires a lot of space!! Hopefully, Cardinal doesn't become frightened by all this commotion. Although, it does live outside. (Whoa!!! I've said too much!!) I don't know, but it sounds a bit pricey. Possibly one of the most costly.... (Ooops!! I just cant keep my mouth shut.) What is taller than the 175-foot Pulse? I know Millennium Force at our sister park Cedar Point stands 310 feet. That's definitely taller than Pulse. We've heard the enthusiasts speculation regarding project 2008. Some say Zamperla, others say Vekoma. Well, I can assure you all will enjoy this enormous European attraction! Although, this is more close to home. (Uh-oh! I've done it now!) .taht fo ytnelp evah lliw 8002 !pop dna elkcarc ,panS -David Trust
  8. Yes, very choice. Unique? Yes, all eyes will be on Valley Hills next season. Whoa! I feel honored to be able to inspire people with my work. Thank you. Ah, it's a different manufacturer. That makes sense. Although it still mystify me as to why CF would get this type of ride, period. Keep making this park spectacular! I thought the park could use more high-thrill rides. It was the perfect choice considering size and a realistic budget. It was different to, so that also helped. Next season will mark the first of many top-notch seasons to come.
  9. Are you joking? The SLC is one of the easiest layouts to recreate.
  10. Yep, enough to be placed in its own category. LSM Launch Coaster
  11. Flying coaster... Cardinal loves to fly! Hopefully, it doesn't take off and loose a few feathers...
  12. Thunderstorm looks great at Wild Northwest. This should at least get peoples attention, seeing how tall it is. Its a shame that the park isn't putting much effort into marketing, you'd think they'd at least want to. Anyways, good looking park so far. I REALLY like the station on Beaver Express. I also like SteelHawk's layout! P.S. I would never give an SLC a second chance after something like that. No way, no how.
  13. ^he is the op Outlaw Run, Goliath & Wildfire all prove that topper track can be just as effective as the i-box. I don't see the issue here.
  14. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 David Trust - park spokesperson The summer season is in full-swing at Valley Hills! Come conquer the worlds largest Frisbee ride, Cardinal. Or free-fall 242.8 feet, and experience 3.8 seconds of zero gravity on ZER0. Unfortunately, Déjà Vu & Chaos will be closed until further notice. The rides have been experiencing mechanical issues and we hope to have them both up and running as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience. Bonus shot! Atop the Valley Scream maintenance platform you can see the all new spray 'n' play feature added to Wild Waters. You can now soak riders even further! Uh-oh, Cardinal better rest in its nest! A lot of commotion is happening next to it. We wouldn't want it to fly away...
  15. It's mostly dependent on what type of earth the site has and the load the footer will bear. This can range anywhere from a few to hundreds of feet. X-Flight @ SFGAM has footers that range from 30-77 feet deep.
  16. All the camelback radii on Nitro are approximate to each other. Weird.
  17. Tip: Don't expect Fuji-Q to be anything more than sub-par with operations.
  18. This recreation is coming along beautifuly. Excellent work! I've always wanted to see a RCT3 recreation of this park, it was well worth the wait.
  19. Tomato, tamata. This argument is rather pointless.
