I'll post a review in just a bit, but I had a great time! It's a great smaller park, and there is a ton to do! I'd love to take Jacob there sometime as they had a crap load of kid rides.

It's great to see all this technology going into the parks. I'm really hoping for FP+. The whole time I was there for Labor Day running all over the park for fast passes, I was thinking how much better it would have been with FP+.

I would definitely do two. I could easily do three full days there. There is so much to do and see.

Every time I see this thread I instantly think of Mt. Olympus. Nothing has ever come close to being that terrible.

Same here. Those deals are usually so good that it's worth the wait. Still waiting for Legend of Zelda to be released for the Wii U. When it's finally released, I might have to pick up a Wii U.

I'm really liking the Goldbergs. I can relate to way too many things on that show.

Cedar Park having a ride called Windseeker and closing it down due to high winds. What's worse than traveling pretty far for a park, and then getting there and finding out it was closed when the website said it would be open?

I would love to see what TDR could come up with! They would make the current system look so basic.

When we visited a few years ago, we decided to go on the chairlift when it was cloudy. It was a terrible decision because it started pouring and we had no way to escape it! They kept it running though!

I've always thought SFDK has a decent selection of food. The crepes are definitely my favorite. I do enjoy their Frightfest as well. Nothing amazing, but it's overall a decent park.

It's been a while since I've seen Army of Darkness, I'll have to rent it again!

Great pictures! I would love to have been on that tour! Universal really does have some of the best looking halloween sets and characters.

Made it to the park and enjoying it! Really nice park, and I love the trees. It doesn't seem too busy, but many of their coasters are low capacity so the lines are a little long. Not bad for a Saturday. Having fun so far! Also, what food places would everyone recommend?

The horror! I don't know how Disney will survive! Paint chips, crumbs, broken USB ports, the end is definitely near. Next thing you know, they'll be getting rid of their 100% factual, absolutely historical and authentic cultural rides for rides people actually want!

2-3 pages back I posted my experience a couple weeks ago when they closed the park more than 1 hr earlier than advertised with no warning whatsoever. We had reserved El Toro and when we arrived at the queue a little before 11pm were denied access, in fact they were running the last train empty at that moment and the place was deserted (except for crowds of folks just like us who were clueless) so they had closed the line at least 20 minutes before. No warning whatsoever. We were able to reserve Bizarro after that and when we arrived that too was dead and they had closed up shop, lights were off, etc. Very irritating. I understand closing early due to lack of attendance but more than 1 hr, with no warning whatsoever? No. Say the park is open until 11, keep the park open to 11, and if things are going well extend to midnight. There were plenty of workers and scare actors there on Saturday night so if they were short-staffed it was not at all obvious like it normally would be. And people wonder why Six Flags gets such a bad rap. I understand things happen, but things like this seem to be the norm.

Gotta love the animal rights activists. No mention of age of animal, or reasons why, etc. Just like the anti-Sea World people. I truly can't stand them.

Good to see some progressive before the harsh and horrendous California winter stops all work until about June.
