  1. It's amazing the transformation that takes place when building a park. They do seem to moving pretty quick! I just hope they don't stop in the middle like that other Chinese park!
  2. I've got a few friends that live near Provo. I guess it's about time I went and visited them and stopped by Lagoon as well.
  3. Great report Chuck. I put on some similar training exercises at our water park, but nothing near this scale. Really cool to see how they figured it all out.
  4. That's insane, especially since they absolutely knew it was coming. They're just allowing another generation to grow up and hate the park operations.
  5. You can upload videos from inside the Facebook app, but the Facebook app is absolutely terrible. I never use it to upload photos or videos. Robb recommended iLoader and it works great. I've been using for a while now and it is so much better and easier to use. Never had any problems uploading photos or videos with it.
  6. Loved the cultural pictures! It was really interesting to see Shanghai. It looked pretty nice. Amy would love the glass floor tower, me, not so much. Can't wait to see more!
  7. I think we know what the next cooking update has to be Brandy! Nice TR Joey - it seems from your pictures like half the park was a lot older and more "rustic" (I think you know what I mean!) and then there were really bright and beautifully presented parts. Have I got the wrong impression from the photos or are there parts that are significantly newer/better maintained? I'm curious... What areas of the park you guys think has a better maintenance (and are more beautiful) and what areas you guys think looks older? I'm questioning this because some fans Hopi Hari have contact with some important departments of the park and we give suggestions to them so that the park can always improve their structure and theming. Thanks for you feedback, they are very important to us (fans)! As I said before, it is so nice that we have Americans visiting our parks, specially Hopi Hari. You see, fans and guests here don't care so much about the park conditions, and I'm glad to have the opportunity to see some amazing opinions here. Disclaimer: I totally understand that parks aren't just made of money and can't just make everything perfect. I really do think the park is going in the right directing, and the new areas look amazing. I'm sure the park has plans in the future to spruce up the older areas (that's what they did with kids area and the DC area already). It's a constant cycle of putting in new things and updating the old. I'm sure the park is totally aware of what areas need attention next. TPDave -That's the part that reminds me a lot of Six Flags. The new areas are really nice and new, while the older areas seem forgotten. There is a big contrast between some areas. If you look at the pictures of Montezum (the woodie) it is in serious need of a paint job, and there is a ton of rust, but the queue has some nice areas, and the ride sign is really nice. RFV94 - It was like a lot of parks in the world, the old areas are run down, while the new areas are nice. Really not that much more worse than other places around the world. The Wild West area could be nicer. Also, montezum really need to be painted and fixed up. There were a lot of little details that could be painted and taken care of like benches, railings, etc. However, if the park had a ton of money I'm sure it would have already been done. I think the work they've done on the Shuttle Loop more than makes up for any of the run down areas.
  8. I would absolutely love it if they brought these to the US. The toppings and fillings were really good! Maybe Disney Sea will get the and then I will have no choice but go on the TPR trip next year. Forget finding a job!
  9. It seems to be that this will be just like an interactive queue. Anyone know? It better not be anything like the terrible Narnia 'attraction' they had before.
  10. Seeing how SFMM has run things in the past, I could see them either getting two trains, even if it can have 3, or most likely, get three trains, and always have one in maintenance, and then giving one to another park when they open a similar ride in a year or two.
  11. Churros have to be made correctly though. Before, i've only had consistently good churros at Disneyland. Now I also have Hopi Hari as an option!
  12. Thanks for the pictures! Can't wait until it's finished!
  13. Food is an All-Season thing for me.
  14. Thanks for the reply! We do get a lot of fanboys here as well. I definitely can see the parallels to Six Flags. I do want to visit again sometime and see the new DC area, the new coaster, and visit Beto Carrera world. I'll let you know!
  15. Great report! I really need to go to China the next time TPR goes to China!
  16. I can't believe they are still trying after all this time. I never visited the park, and would love to have gotten the credits, but I think they should just sell what they can, if it's not too late.
  17. I thought Spongebob was the smoothest of the three I've ridden. Saw was awesome because of the bloody corpse, but it was rough. Mystery Mine was painful, but had really nice theming.
  18. There are few things as fun as being on a tiny kiddie coaster filled with screaming/laughing adults.
  19. I haven't been to Lagoon for years, but yes, they can build it. It will be nice to get another ride there. Definitely another reason to visit.
  20. Quoted for truth. Definitely these! Also, I like Blue Fire's trains because they are super comfortable, and they have heart rate monitors on them!
  21. 18/24. Better than I thought!
  22. Excalibur is a better version of the ride. The one in Hopi Hari rotates the cabins at about half the speed so it gets really uncomfortable. I still can't believe that a Boomerang is their new coaster.
  23. Another credit for me to get, if it opens.
  24. This month it will hopefully be California Screamin'.
  25. TPR Videos, TPR Boards, and LA since their parks are always open. Oh, and try to find a permanent job.
