Hey, hey, Disney. Build a 500 foot tall launched B&M inverted at MGM Studios! -

Hah, ironic how almost everything from GL is being removed and added to KI (X-Flight and a Trick Track). -
Theme Parks on Television

I heard The Playboy Channel will be airing some coaster porn and a special titled "The Making of Me: KidTums Edition" on April 20th. -

Is it me, or did Cedar Fair did a half-assed job in repainting X-Flight to become "Firehawk"? -

yes the whole world knows this. It's just a disappointment that it's opening this late, when in all rights it could open way earlier...... I don't know why you are disappointed. SheiKra opened around this time too (May 21st, 2005). Although, SheiKra was incomplete at its opening (unfinished theming and painting), I wouldn't expect the same from Griffon, it looks like this ride is going up faster than a rocket full of munchies. -
Yeti Ball, FTW! So much comic gold to be had!

Intimin launch coasters
Homer replied to savemagicmountain's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
To clarify on vjgx's post. Before 2003, all Intamin Rocket coasters (at that time Xcelerator and TTD) had only lap restraints. Also, Storm Runner was announced in late 2003 and interestingly has OTSR's, probably due to inversions. But why do all Intamin Rockets now have OTSRs? Blame it on the 2004 Superman incident at SFNE when a restraint opened (however, it was a guests fault, since he was too big for the restraint). Since then, parks have been a little weary of Intamin rides because of the restraints, which is why all rocket coasters after Storm Runner now have OTSR's (then again, it could be the parks themselves that request OTSRs). -
In my neck of the woods, Florida. Driving: WAY back when, it used to be 13 (this was MANY years ago, from what I heard) But now, its 15 for a learners permit and 16 to drive. 18 and up for porn and cigs. 21 and up for alcohol.

I feel your pain, I especially hate it when I am in the library and the old library hag is over your shoulders going "I hope your not on Newgrounds/AddictingGames/MySpace/LiveJournal/HomestarRunner/*insert other site students visit here*." *sigh* My rant for the day though, my Spanish teacher. All Spring Break long I'm going to be doing one big ass Spanish project.

Are you sure this list is not "Top 200 albums of the past 50 years?" And American Idiot on top? Oh well, at least Dookie did better.

I'm pretty sure anybody who likes to BS around on the net have watched some flash movies on the net. Usually Newgrounds has the biggest selection of flash movies to watch, most of it crap however, but a few gems. Then there are other standalone sites that have become popular through word of mouth. So, to kick off my favorites: 1. Homestar Runner [strong Bad Emails] If there was one thing that didn't make Mondays suck so bad, it would be Homestar Runner. Just about every week or so, the site is updated with a random new toon or the usual Strong Bad email, where we wonder what goes on in the life of a Mexican boxer. You can watch them at http://www.homestarrunner.com 2. Waterman Waterman is basically another REALLY random cartoon that is kind of like Family Guy, but on like, crack and doesn't rely too much off "Flashback jokes written by Manatees." If I really needed something to laugh at, I'd watch this, its just too random. Watch it at: http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/waterman.html So, what are your favorite flash movies?

If there was one game that turned me off from the Sonic franchise these days, this is it (along with Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis, the crappiest port ever). I remember when this game was rumored to be a retelling of Sonic 1 on the Genesis with a revamped camera system and the game just being "Sonic and Eggman." That's it, nothing else. But then, I saw the reviews and went "WTF?" at it, they crammed in so many useless characters, an even crappier camera, and the stupidest story line ever that was inspired by some furry fanfic. This game proved Sonic was no longer that cool hedgehog in the 90's. Basically, Sonic 2006 was just, wrong... I highly advise against buying this piece of crap. Although the Wii version is better, because it does not feel as creepy as Sonic 2006 though.

^Seconded, to me, you are NOT a Florida person if you do not shop for food at Publix. People who shop at Winn-Dixie and Sweetbay are crazy.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Homer replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Some Zyklon thingy at my local fair, just called "Roller Coaster." -
LOL at that ad for Griffon on that webpage. Its like the cut and paste the SheiKra ad from before SheiKra's opening except replace it with Griffon, 205 feet, and a satellite image of Virginia. Compare: http://www.bgtguide.com/media/comm.php - Season Pass/SheiKra ad (March 2005) http://www.griffoncoaster.com/ - The intro.
