  1. I think the closest I have been to traditional was at Kennywood. The park was very clean, the rides well-maintained, the staff friendly, and real knowledgeable, and the food was not only great, but FAIRLY priced. I wish I lived closer to Kennywood. Oh well, Indiana Beach and SFGAm are what I've got!
  2. A 1-day full price ticket at Six Flags Great America runs you $54.99, and parking is $25 for general plus and $15 for general. $25 for parking!!!!
  3. I am going to have to agree with everybody else. This looks incredible. It is so awesome that you were able to take something you like and share it with people over 2,000 miles away. Water play structures are rapidly gaining popularity, and like with your project, can now be considered as a stand alone park. Congratulations man, and I can't wait to see this place under operation!
  4. Legoland: Germany looks incredible. I love the theming of EVERYTHING, and there are so many rides, especially a lot of water rides. That Bionicle ride looks intriguing. I'm glad you are able to share these pictures with us!
  5. The site is really taking shape, and the theming looks really sweet. Check it out on Six Flag's construction site: http://www.sixflags.com/greatAmerica/rides/BuccaneerBattleConstructionUpdate.aspx
  6. ^ 2001 at SFGAm with V2 and Deja Vu. Oh wait, you said High Quality Never Mind
  7. Any delays suck:( I hope they can figure this out, and when they do, I know it will be an incredible creation!
  8. It is very much complete. This ride feature's the world's first Roller Coaster track jump!
  9. On a per-park basis, some of Six Flags parks are really well managed, have a great collection of rides, and have high attendance. Other parks are slow at operations, have only cloned rides and don't attract very many people. Perhaps Six Flags needs to consider selling some of their slower parks. Although, in this market, it seems that that would be a terrible option. Overall though, I know they'll find a way of continuing to provide us with fun for years to come!
  10. For good endings, this one is often overlooked, V2 at SFGAm, because of the unexpected brakes on the straight spike. Other good endings are definitely the Voyage for the non-stop fun, Ravine Flyer II for the 90* banking, Flight of Fear for the final corkscrew right before the brakes, and WHIZZER for the Helix of Fun! Lame endings include Cedar Creek Mine Ride (I think I slept), Superman Ultimate Flight, a REALLY slow flat spin, and finally DARK KNIGHT, the first half of the ride was really awesomely themed, had surprises, and was really entertaining. The only theming in the second half of the ride was a flash bulb on the camera!
  11. Agreed. This is a great idea and the perfect time to start something of the sort. I hope they exceed their goal of 200,000 items!
  12. You couldn't possibly lifeguard an attraction with CCTV, theres no way you would be able to respond in time.
  13. Precisely. Nobody understands they need to stay in their tubes and not try to sink other guests.
  14. Mariah Carey upstairs in the Magic Kingdom train station at the Main Street USA watching the fireworks.
  15. I must say, Iron Wolf, at Great America. It is the first B&M, so definitely not sanded. You can hear it anywhere in the back part of the park.
  16. I can't say that I remember, because my first large Roller Coaster was Vortex at King's Island, and I think I've been hooked ever since.
  17. ^ Yeah not only does Kalahari have a flow rider, they have 2! Being that it is the biggest indoor waterpark in North America, there are so many things to do. Try to get there sometime for sure!
