Nah man, I can say I never had any want to do that lol I like cold, but doing rides? I'm good fam. Barhopping though, different story! -
I do rather like those colors, will agree it feels a lot more alpine now! Though yeah a Griffon touch up would've been nice so it could stand out still. I really like the new Kraken colors as well, good job Sea World....on the paint choices, not so much opening your 2020 rides but who's salty? not me XD

These were my assumptions as well, and yes single rider is a god send! They have saved my butt on the HP ones for sure. Sooooo honestly I'm going mostly for VC and to a lesser extent Hagrid's as those are the new ones for me. I used to go to Universal every year (sometimes twice) so I don't feel a need to do everything, will of course do as much as I can. Likely gunna stick to IoA. Decided to mostly visit friends in Tallahassee and pop to Orlando for a day-ish, do the Fun Spots on my way out.

I mean the schedule was to be at 200+ in 2020. Can't quite help how life goes but hey, better late than never! I am lucky to be able to do it, I'm an idiot and didn't realize I had 10 more PTO days than I thought, some of which need to be used by March so I was like **** it, might as well go to Orlando and ride VC LOL BTW what is the deal with Universal and fast pass type things? Its a Feb weekday so I figure may not need one but then again its Presidents day long weekend. I probably will forego one, but just curious. OH wow little slow with that official POV but there ya go! Yes, its deff a tad sped up/theres an effect. On the illegal POV's Ive seen they deff dont look like that. I do kinda hate when parks fluff up their POVs like that but I also totally get why. I'll stick to the various not official ones XD

Yeah Im with ya, it adds ride length, and its not boring like a slow helix or just kinda meandering around, not sure what's not to like. (Though I think they made a similar comment about Pantheon so guess back and forth launching just aint their thing). Oof yeah...comfort collars, and for Ice Breaker, but not Pantheon...it's a choice XD That said still looking forward to this ride, prob more than I should and will be gravely disappointed, but flights and tix booked...I'll be here in late Feb! Kind of excited, last went here when Kraken was the only ride. Excited to see if Mako and Manta live up to the hype -
As the # approaches 200 and is becoming filled with more top tier rides this is becoming very difficult. It's like trying to find miniscule differences in pieces of gold. I also try to remember accurately how some rides felt, am I overhyping the RMCs etc...wish I put this much effort into other tasks XD Like others I had to go with groupings because it becomes too insane otherwise. Tbh I mostly focused on a top 25 and a bottom 5 the rest....eh lol Anyway, here is my top 10: 1. Steel Vengence 2. Twisted Timbers 3. Lightning Rod 4. Wicked Cyclone (Its been since 2016, I need to ride this year as I hear its gone downhill) 5. Storm Chaser 6. Skyrush 7. Fury 325 8. Twisted Colossus 9. Millennium Force 10. Voyage Bottom 5: Anaconda - KD FoF - KI Vortex - Carowinds Vekoma SLC Scream Machine - SFOG GASM was a new addition for this year. God that thing was awful. So much so it takes the bottom. Vekoma SLC you know what to expect and least theres OTSR, inversions etc. How GASM is that bad is beyond me. I have been on worse but they no longer exist so there ya have it.

I value the knowledge and tips/advice of the enthusiast community but I won't lie, I could never live with yall XD Though hilariously I have been applying to jobs all over, including CA, so watch me end up living by KBF anyway. If so anyone is always free to crash on my couch and beer is absolutely acceptable payment.

Yeah to each their own (crazy I know this is the internet differing opinions is supposed to = time for war XD) I feel Pantheon does have a great layout. I personally like the flow of it, seems natural and not wasted at all, and we used to always gripe when stuff was the same ol so I appreciate this is doing something different. Nor do I think it will be uncomfortable, but again opinion only Some of those other points I think are venturing from opinion into trying to be contrarian. I am not sure how one can feel the spike kills the pacing, that seems to be when the top speed section is starting and not sure how it may make the ride feel shorter, isn't it adding ride length? It'd feel very short without it. Even as is I wish there were one or two more elements! That's my only thing, wish it was a tad longer, though I think it's a killer layout.

This is the plan we need. All enthusiasts pool all the $ they have and buy as many houses near by to try and lobby that it will be ok to build lol Ha nah pooling all our $ can buy what 2 SoCal homes? XD Very interesting news with MR. Wonder what the renovations will be for such a simple ride. Very glad they are keeping it though. We need to keep every classic Schwarzkopf there is!

All that makes sense. I love me some CCI's but they deff are not the most well aged rides (hell weren't the smoothest in the day) but that all sounds like good stuff. I always heard it had unexpected airtime and packed quite a punch, but this was years ago glad to hear it's still very solid! -

Oh yeah hope no one thought I was whining or disappointed deff super excited. Also how is Cornball Express these days? I always heard nothing but rave things but ya know it's been around some time now. I have decided I will prob take some more days and extend my Ohio trip, prob out to Chicago so I will deff be stopping here. Assuming the new coaster is open ofc. -

Yeah I'm excited to go again, esp since I hear so much about Mako and Manta are up there in terms of B&M hypers/flyers. And what can I say? I am a sucker for a good/interesting layout. And sure the whole multi launch back and forth thing is suddenly not as cool as it seemed in 2020 esp with Pantheon that is far faster lol but I still am kind of excited. Universal took precedent of course, I wasnt even planning on making it here this year BUT since I'm a dumbass and realized I got more PTO days than I knew, I may be going here in Mid Feb now XD Use President's day weekend to extend my trip -

Superb! I've been looking forward to this one, which yeah it's a moderate ride and obviously it's not VC, or Iron Gwazi, (or Pantheon) but also ya know, it's not supposed to be. I rather like the layout, and it looks kinda compact? This thing won't be very forceful or intense at all obviously but I'd expect it's not forceless either. And I've not been here since Kraken was like the only ride. No joke, so I'm pretty excited to go for the time in ages. -

The mad lads. God bless lack of care! But yeah exactly it will still be crazy, I got no concern. -

I was floored when the word of God, erm I mean RCDB, listed this ride at 6.1 G's But that would make sense, I know those big daddy Schwarzkopf's are intense as hell and this ride does have that type of look. And we know how forceful even the "smaller" ones are...so yeah this may be one helluva ride! Absolutely stopping here next year. Always wanted to for Cornball but never could justify it but feels right to finally go. -
Interesting. If so that is actually good news, the whole seemed rushed and just "wtf is this?" but a few years is plenty of time to develop a proper ride idea around it. And for sure about the "troubled weather" ride, I do always like the option to pop into something if it rains, not many parks seem to have it these days!

Major oof. Very sad, and yeah dropping the policy is better than not but when it comes after public shaming..doesnt feel very "valid" from them, especially if they originally defended it. Good on the people though, that is an epic response and they got em to nix it! -
