  1. Hydra doesn't have a pre-drop either. I really don't know why the newer B&M's don't have it. Personally I'm not a fan of the pre-drop so I like that they haven't been made recently.
  2. ^Thanks for the update! I will be sure to keep checking that website for more updates.
  3. The Great Escape- Boys Like Girls
  4. I need to get back to Knoebels to get some more rides on the Phoenix! The park does look amazing at night.
  5. Does anyone know if there is anymore progress on the construction? I haven't seen anything in about a week.
  6. Man I always thought it would be awesome to go on a behind the scene's tour of a coaster. You are very lucky. Thanks for the great pictures!
  7. Hit em up - 2pac
  8. Congrats! That sure is a lot of coaster riding on one coaster. The most rides I have on one coaster is 211 on Hydra (I liked it the first season IDK why.)
  9. Eating ketchup? wtf! Awesome report and video! Dragon Coaster looks like a pretty fun ride.
  10. I never met him or talked to him but he always seemed like such a nice guy! R.I.P. Dan Miller
  11. Man amazing photo trip report! These are some of the best photo's of the parks I've seen.
  12. ^I thought that would be a funny picture to put in this thread.
  13. Hope you guys have an awesome trip and I can't wait to see those photo's! I am so jealous right now.
  14. Sticky Icky- Pitbull
  15. This is the only weapon you will ever need. ronnie.bmp No one will even try to mess with you.
  16. City- Bethlehem and Easton are both about a 5-10 minute drive. Major City- Philadelphia.
  17. ^That's a great idea! An Italian Job coaster would work perfectly for SFNE. I found Italian Job to be a very fun ride that the whole family could ride. It would be a great addition to the park if they got something like this, but I don't have my hopes up.
  18. ^I wonder what parks will receive new coasters next year. Rumored to get coasters for next season: SFSTL- Land is getting cleared. SFFT- Batman track on property. SFDK- They are supposed to get a coaster in Zonga's spot. SFGAM- I heard they are removing Splashwater Falls. TGE- The SLC from Astroland? This leaves 3 more parks to receive a new coaster. It could be any of these: SFA SFGADV SFKK SFMM SFMexico SFNE SFOG SFOT LR Out of the parks left I really feel that SFNE, SFKK, and SFMexico will be the other park receiving coasters.
  19. ^Thanks for pointing that out! I have never noticed the different tracks. I have a question. How are the waits at Kennywood on a Sunday night in mid June? I'm asking this because i am planing on visiting the park for their starlight ticket on the way to Cedar Point next summer.
  20. I wasn't saying that Kings Dominion has a bad collection of coasters, I just think they need another standout coaster. I really hope this isn't true about Dominator though.
  21. ^Apollo's Chariot has some nice ejector air on the last hill. I mean it's not El toro ejector but it is definitely more than 0g.
  22. I really hope that Dominator isn't leaving the park. If it does than there is no reason for me to visit the park next summer. Dominator was the whole point in going to Geauga Lake. If Cedar Fair does deside to relocate the ride I sure do hope it goes to Kings Dominion, they desperately need another good coaster besides Volcano.
  23. I get way more air on Nitro's drop than on Apollo's Chariot's drop. The pre-drop does nothing for me. I prefer rides with the drop right off of the lift than rides with a pre-drop. Both rides do have GREAT first drops though, I just prefer Nitro's. I can't wait to see how this ride turns out. Maybe in a few years I will get up there to experience that 85 degree drop!
  24. ^ Yes the ride is going to Dorney next season. South Whitehall Township approved a 184 foot tall LIM launch coaster for the park. Apparently the pictures that were shown were of Steel Venom. Also, there are markings in Skyscrapers old spot.
  25. Also over at cousterbuzz.com they said the ride will have a vertical lift of 121 feet and a 95 degree drop, but I don't buy any of it until the announcement is made.
