  1. What the ....? It looks like instead of drive tires it is propelled by saw blades As to the tower: doesn't it look like they could have put a lot more seats as they are quite far apart or is it a matter of weight? Also, that is some heavy trimming on the wild mouse. Hopefully it won't be like this forever but then some of the brakes looked like permanent magnetic ones, so...
  2. ^Given they just got Banshee, it'll probably be a while before a new coaster comes.
  3. Pictures from other angles. Source. By the way, I did some simple calculations and if the drop really is 43 m tall the top speed should only be 29m/s. Maybe that's what they mean with the 30 m/s but even so those 29 would be true without any sort of drag which we know doesn't happen. So I wonder if those numbers are accurate.
  4. Robb not making videos altogether. What's worse than B&M and intamin's facilities being occupied by Chinese knock-off engineers?
  5. Millennium Force
  6. Will it really take less time to load? Remember that on floorless coasters not only do you have to wait for the train to be perfectly aligned (which means that for a few seconds it's moving very slowly before stopping unlike mantis now which stops faster) but you also have the floor which has to lower and come up. Just a thought, as I actually don't remember how long it took to load the train when I rode it.
  7. ^My first launched coaster was also my first looping one: space mountain mission 2 Disneyland Paris.
  8. ^Sometimes they just like to use these "fancy" words for no reason. The capacity sounds pretty good.
  9. ^I guess the ones B&M normally uses on their OTSR. No?
  10. ^That's right, only the heartline roll.
  11. Montu POV: "Are we gonna flip upside down up here? I sure hope not, I don't like going upside down." "Ahhh it's the batman element!!" "NO BRAKES NO BRAKES NO BRAKES! And.. NO BRAKES!! Well, a little bit of brakes"
  12. ^Thanks. It's funny how a while ago today I was wondering if those rides were open or not.
  13. On the vekoma loopscrew at Gardaland video: "It was alright.I enjoyed that. I would ride it again...... in five years." In another vekoma (SLC) in China (a real one!): "Oh man, that was real vekoma headbanging! YEAH!!!"
  14. I've been thinking about this for some time, but when steel coasters start to become rough, is it all because of the trains or track too? I know that the trains (and condition of the wheels) makes a difference but doesn't the track get worn out too?
  15. slow
  16. In this POV I love the way Robb says: "And the... NON INVERTING LOP! NOT UPSIDE DOWN! 2:58
  17. Granted. With 95 % downtime. I wish B&Ms old days would return.
  18. Begin
  19. ^If it is 54 m, then not bad. I think these rides are all about the first drops so having a big one does matter.
  20. Nice photos! I think I had never really noticed how odd some of the supports for manta's drop are.
