Strongest/Most forcefull Launch
rcjp replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I haven't ridden that many launched coasters but the most powerful one was definitely kingda ka. So fast and yet the launch didn't feel jerky at all. -

Wow, this coaster looks promising, at least from the rumors. I do really hope this will turn out to be a B&M invert, that would (or could) be awesome, specially if they go for some record of this type of coaster. -

DON'T LOOK DOWN! -
The loudest B&M I've ridden was Dragon khan, which is interesting because most POVs don't give that idea, specially before the new paint job. Maybe it was like kumba in the way that painting and cleaning it made it louder, really loud. Got to love that roar!

If, like most eurofighters, the MCBR does little trimming during normal runs I expect that second half to be pretty intense! -

Thanks for the update! I wonder how you have time to edit the videos and so on during these trips. -
Insane Coaster Wars Season Two!
rcjp replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That's right, isn't it? I mean, I suppose titan's airtime hill is similar to goliath's and everyone agrees that it only provides some floater air and, as far as I'm concerned, that means between 0 and -0.5 G. I find quite strange how a tv series like this can make such an exaggerated claim, and it's not something that's subjective like how good it is, it is something mesurable. Still, enjoyed the episode, overall, and I was surprised to see blue fire last. -

Those are some sweet looking trains. And lap bars only! -
While that would be cool you can't forget that it won't be very forceful through the turn after the loop and diving loop. I think it will probably go faster when it opens so that it provides some hangtime while being intense after the loop at the same time and, obviously, the faster it goes through the top hat the more airtime it will have.

For me it has to be the classic B&M roar as well as the noise some B&M inverts' lift hill make (such as batman at SFGAdv). Oh, I also love the noise when the intamin's accelerator coasters' dogs get released into the catchcar.

Insane Coaster Wars Season Two!

Have just seen the episode and, although I've not got much to compare as I've only ridden shambhala, I do like this new voting system better than the old one too. Looking forward to the rest of the season, saw some nice coasters showing up in the beginning, should be interesting. -
Coaster express at Parque Warner Madrid. Honestly, it really was painful: I could almost feel my brain being bashed against my skull, it gave me some serious headache.
