^Will have one of those in my hands in only 26 days! Can't wait! -
This is the whole question, and I'm glad I'm finally not the only person asking it. The steel is attached to the wood, so of course the steel "needs" the wood to be there. But ask yourself this. Common sense says inversions are only possible with steel track. It's the steel that makes topper track able to perform inversions. Therefor... Hades 360 only uses a larger running plate so it is not the steel that allows inversions, plus they still have to be able to get the wood to twist enough to allow for the inversion. Are inversions the elements that demand the most twisting from the track? There are many traditional wooden rides with very twisty bits, which sometimes probably twist the wood more than many inversions.

Why are the wheels so big? It's not going to achieve high speeds, is it? Or is it because of the weight of the trains? -

You're right. As I saw several pictures over the months I gradually realised it was going to be a lot bigger than I though. But this!! It's just massive! -

You're right, it does look like a mess of track. Sweet! I like how that big airtime hill after the top hat stands out. -

^At least the quality of the name would fit the quality of the ride so I guess doing nothing would be worse. About the gerstlauer trains, would they actually be able to make the ride worse? What's worse than RCCA building a new coaster named to Justin Bieber?

^Maybe, but that will only make sense if it is significantly tall (due to the pre brakes + normal brakes thingy), which leads us back to the height discussion. -
Cinecitta World set for 2011 debut in Rome

^It seems to be carrying some nice speed through those elements considering it's still only testing. -
I was watching TPR's Kingda Ka offride shots and noticed how, right next to the base of the tower, there seemed to be this constant noise (probably due to the pumps for the launch mechanism). Now, is this going to be like that once Zumanjaro opens? Will they do something about it? Or is it normally quiet and was noisy when the video was shot for some reason? Look at 1:44

Got a few testing pictures from Coasterfriends. They also have a video shot from outside the park but it's not very clear so see. -

I'm not sure if all those supports would be necessary for a drop tower. If you had a ride like stealth and attached one to it the supports would mostly be close to the tower and not expanding further back like Kingda Ka's so I'm not sure if the structure would need to be so complex. -

^So if it is going to be more like stealth why does the drawing show a support structure like Kingda Ka or TTD? I know this is just concept art but still I would assume they started from a picture of stealth or a ride of that size instead of one of the others just to give a fake illusion of speed. I know the words they used do raise important questions but I still find it strange that it would turn out to be so "small" especially with a drop tower attached to it.
