  1. Like that one! Also if you try not to tighten your restraint so much leaving a small gap that makes other people (my friends, in my case) go: Wow! You're insane!!
  2. ^It does look kind of "wrong" but really cool at the same time.
  3. ^That sounds great! I had actually thought of that possibility before but hadn't bothered to think of a layout. Parque Warner is the closest decent theme park from home (even though it is in a different country) so that would be awesome! Plus they haven't really added any big coaster since they opened 12 years ago so either that or an airtime filled ride (which they're lacking). Maybe an intamin giga with Skyrush trains (and improved restraints)?
  4. Nice report! I would really like to try the park, it seems to have a nice collection of rides (especially colossos )
  5. ^Oh, thanks. I didn't think they would remove it and also assumed that if they took it off the website it was because it won't open soon. Just didn't know why they went from a month to a more extended period of time.
  6. ^Interesting.... I wonder what's going on.
  7. ^Wow these guys DO care about proper theming! That's always nice to know. Buy the way, didn't you say something about them building a BIG wooden coaster?
  8. What does the steepness of the lift hill have to do with that? I think the idea was that, once the entire train reaches the lift and as there is a small yet sudden acceleration the lap bars would lower a bit although I felt they only got really tight after the first drop, because of the Gs. I think Leviathan has the fastest B&M lift although I'm not sure about its speed. Back to topic, that shot of the dive loop looks really cool. I like the look of it!
  9. Great POV, as usual. Also glad to know it wasn't running so rough.
  10. ^Not to mention that GK doesn't even have 7 inversions. I mean, there is nothing wrong with not knowing these things but what is annoying is when people talk as if they did and then say nothing but nonsense.
  11. Oh I totally forgot about Dodonpa! I should really try that one!
  12. Interesting. Last year, for me, it was the same. So I arranged a trip which included both but El Toro was closed So, right now, here are a few I would really like to try (in no particular order): El toro Outlaw Run A Megalite Intimidator 305 Nemesis Expedition Geforce Maverick Kumba Also, although this is not something I desperately want to ride (obviously), I would like to have a go on a SLC as I've never ridden one and want to know what it's like after all.
  13. And smoother. It is supposed to open with its new trains before Memorial Day. Testing has been going well. BIZARROS AUDIO IS WORKING PERFECTLY!!!! Can you actually hear it on that bizarro? The first time I rode the one at great adventure it still had the audio but I couldn't hear it at all (except for the lift, MCBR and brake run)
  14. If you watched the entire final Banshee time lapse video (all the 9 minutes and 54 seconds of it!)
  15. ^Oh, thanks. That's reasonably steep (I think it's more or less the same as the bigger dive machines)
  16. Skyrush is one of the steepest (non vertical) I've seen. And I think I heard intamin's president saying it was something like 50 (although I think it looks a bit more).
  17. ^You forgot to say that the GIBs are waayyyyy better than the normal ones
  18. ^I have actually also thought of that. I'm no engineer, obviously, but as those sections of track would be flat they would never have to withstand more tan 1 G (the actual weight of the train) so maybe it wouldn't be that bad. Then I thought of something like this: the track would slide normally but as the ends of the rails would have this shape it would then lower just a bit so that there was a minimal gap. Not sure if it would work, though. (obviously the gap would be smaller)
  19. It looks ridiculously steep from the photo, so I'll say it is still quite steep
  20. ^Nice video. I watched all of its nearly ten minutes!
  21. I have also though about that, but so far, I haven't seen any. I agree... I can't believe how fast those seats snap back into place! I was expecting a soft return to the upright position... Not a neck breaking snap! I cannot wait to experience this bad boy!!! That part does look better than I originally thought.
  22. Granted: 500ft tall 10,862ft long and 152mph SLC!! I wish more intamin prefab wooden rides were built.
  23. ^While I was there last summer there was around 1h30 min of rain (more drizzle, really) and all the B&Ms kept running (and so did wicked twister). I don't really know about the others as I stayed by the entrance area during that period.
  24. I can't really hear/understand what she is saying but, anyway, I noticed that the ride was travelling with a particularly good pacing on this video. I get the feeling that, as it still has some time to get faster, it could get even better reviews.
