  1. I've been thinking: why the hell is there only one B&M flyer in all of Europe? We could definitely use one now.
  2. ^Great. It's always good when parks take time to shoot some testing POVs.
  3. I also noticed that (probably due to all the riders). And it was still dark (which means colder)!
  4. ^Yeah the running wheels are sort of covered but I can't see how something could stay on them.
  5. ^Now it's a matter of seeing how long the fog will last (hopefully a while)
  6. ^Well he did say wheel cover (but I still find it odd)
  7. ^I have never ridden one but I assume they feel pretty similar, right? If so, I agree that they could be grouped.
  8. Watching a few shots taken while still dark (and I imagine pretty cold) the trains (when full or riders) seem to have a fairly good pacing around the track. I can only imagine how it will be once the temperatures rise!
  9. And how were the restraints? Did they tighten?
  10. I actually think that the airtime hill looks like it will provide some nice air!
  11. ^What is interesting is that while most companies' LSMs make that noise, intamin's makes a completely different one. I wonder why that is.
  12. ^What I find a bit strange is that although, for you, 123 or 124 mph is almost the same, for us in Europe going from 199 to 200 km/h is kind of breaking a barrier so I'm surprised that it'll be "only" close to 200 and not 200 or slightly more. Also I don't know how "close" they mean so breaking the height record could be not so easy because even though the difference in speed is not much, the height of the structure would be so that would mean more money. Of course I would love to see that, but, from what they're saying, don't think so (unless they're saving it for a surprise )
  13. Helix is already a good option. (or will be)
  14. LOL Not quite sure about that one, though. They surely looked like they would be great (lots of freedom to move and so on) but, in practice...
  15. Awesome! I love how it already seems to have a pretty good pacing and some fast transitions! Lately may manufacturers seem to be focusing on slower inversions that provide negative Gs (like the YOLOloop) so I find it great to see someone still making inversions travelled quite fast through the top, creating some good old positives. By the way, do blue fire's LSMs make any noise? (I thought they were silent or nearly) so it's interesting that these make that kind of whistle.
  16. Is this common for boomerangs? Because I've only ridden one (at Hershey) and did find quite a big jolt during that very same transition. Nothing apart from that.
  17. ^Of course we're interested Hope you enjoy!
  18. Well, the highest ranked B&M is a hyper, but it's not in the us.
  19. ^Thank you. I didn't know that. I thought those had a regular electric motor. Does intamin only use this system for those rides or for more?
  20. Also, just to be sure: is the chain powered by a normal electric motor or is it some different system?
  21. Interesting results. Also surprised to see shambhala holding up in the top ten. I rode it last week and though it was much better than my first ride in July 2012, so I'll rank it higher next year (wasn't in my top 10 this year, actually). I wonder what happened to Ispeed. By the way, how were the wing coasters in general? (I know gatekeeper was 108 but that's all)
