  1. That sounds pretty extreme! Last year I only noticed some roughness in the turn after the first airtime hill. Hopefully you just caught in a very bad day as such an amazing ride can't go rough!
  2. The one in Madrid is decently themed: As to he experience, I haven't had the chance to ride many (just this one^ and Great Adventure's) and I prefer the latter as I think it is more intense. Plus, it was 20 last year (last time I rode it) and running perfectly, very smooth. However, I do agree that the one at great America has better surroundings (the trees and the water...) and in that POV Goooose posted it is running really fast.
  3. Double post! Sorry but I nearly forgot this one: Me and my parents were making a trip (by car) around Spain and as we approached this really deep valley I looked down and what did I spot at the bottom? A park! And then I started recognising some coasters and it was Liseberg. I remember thinking: "the Swedish border wasn't supposed to be here. Spain isn't even next to Sweden at all! And Liseberg isn't deep into a valley!". Anyway, I could see Helix's top hat and all! Pretty weird.
  4. Killing in the Name - Rage Against the Machine
  5. ^It would be as if we had a giant frisbee than went all the way up to 180 degrees. I imagine the problem would be the stress on the support structure (for instance) and not so much the motor (but then I'm no engineer, so...)
  6. Does Your Mother Know - Abba
  7. ^Imagine if the straight after the drop was turned into a fast, close to the ground heartline roll like Furius Baco's
  8. That sounds extremely weird. If a train is on one side of the station when the other hits the brakes, can't that one go straight away to the other side?
  9. If when you're on a a coaster with a long lift that takes some time (like Nitro's) and you're getting close to the top you think: "No! Not yet! Keep going up!"
  10. ^Probably if a parks asks for one (and really insist) they will do it, right?
  11. Nice pictures. I didn't realize how rusty the backwards TOGO death machine looked when I first saw the POV, a while ago! That loop is just, well....
  12. Arnold Schwarzenegger
  13. Well, you can just stand there upside down 90 DEGREES would be a really cool experience (I think)
  14. Stunning pictures! Really really good! Nice job! It's funny how they use three different colours for the running, side friction and upstop wheels. This is just too funny! Also, notice how the running wheels aren't touching the track (as you would expect from an arrow)
  15. This is what I dream about every day
  16. It's obviously nice to have everything organized in the park index but, for initial posting, I prefer the forum. Both would be (overall) my answer.
  17. Yeah in the back you do get a bit whipped sideways More than in the other inverts I've tried, at least.
  18. How about a looping starship but without the counterweight? Imagine the speed it would carry through the bottom part (and the Gs too)
  19. What's the maximum angle (more or less)? I would have liked it to be 90 DEGREES!!!
  20. Out of those you are considering, I've only been to dorney and Hershey and I would definitely choose the latter. It has fantastic rides (my second and third favourite coasters are storm runner and skyrush) as well as a very solid B&M invert, a really fun duelling wooden coaster, Fahrenheit (which I think is very underrated) and more.
  21. Parque Warner Madrid: Superman's first drop Portaventura: Shambhala's first drop Six Flags Great Adventure: Nitro's first drop (in the back) (oh, it's not el toro because I didn't get to ride it as it was closed, so don't kill me) Dorney: Dominator Hershey: Skyrush (best overall for me) Cedar Point: Millennium Force Disneyland Paris: Indiana Jones' drop into the loop (I know it's not a big deal but it's the best I could think of for the park, and has a nice head-chopper)
  22. That does look great! Those mountains look stunning.
