  1. I'm going with Iron Rattler because I think terrain coasters are cool. That first drop just looks beautiful.
  2. Yolocoaster looks more interesting. Wing riders don't excite me too much. Swarm was good but not great. I can't imagine Gatekeeper being too much better. Whereas Yolocoaster looks like it was designed by someone on drugs, how could I not be more excited about that?
  3. This website has posted another picture of the manor. There's also a very detailed (however unofficial) run down of some of the features of the ride here. If any of that is true, it all sounds very exciting. 13 scenes and 4 different routes through the attraction? Might be a lot of rubbish.
  4. Shambhala trains are two seats across. So B&M has done that before.
  5. It seems that Mystic Point might open in May. I've found some not very reliable links... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mystic-Manor/119188494779191 and http://disneyandmore.blogspot.hk/2013/03/all-about-hong-kong-disneyland-mystic.html It says October 2013 when you type in "Mystic Point opening date" into google. I have no idea where that date came from though.
  6. I bet they want 8 clicks on the damn things though, like Shambhala. These restraints aren't so great for people who are pear shaped. Interested to see how that seatbelt and leg restraints feel though. Hopefully it will be an improvement.
  7. I decided to hop on a plane for the weekend to Singapore. I'm so glad I went as it is one of the best parks I've ever been to. The operations were great, the staff friendly and helpful, the theming was exceptional and THE SINGLE RIDER LINES WERE EVERYWHERE. On pretty much every ride and on a couple, if you tell them you are a single rider they give you a wrist band and send you up the express queue. If only every park utilised single riders to fill up every train. Battlestar Galactica: both sides were great and had the comfiest OTSR ever. The new ride, it was ok. Not really aimed at me though... This land is amazingly themed. Far Far Away Land. Lovely.
  8. I'm more than a little excited. Wonder how many attractions they're planning and what land they will use to expand on. Hopefully Mystic point will open before it gets too hot over here. The show building is gorgeous.
  9. [youtu_be]http://youtu.be/Bmui8MfOu5A[/youtu_be] Here's the trailer for the new game based on the ride. Here's a screenshot from it. Indoor heartline roll and inverted drop. And the 5 effects, maybe one for each sense? I don't know how they could do taste...
  10. I went to Ocean Park this week and there was some Chinese New Year decorations. And Hair Raiser was actually running TWO cars! The biggest shock of the day was that they opened the single rider line. After seeing the posted hour queue that was a happy surprise. Snake dance Oh look Hair Raiser
  11. Has anyone heard anything official about when it will be opening? Most things I read about it have no source. I've only seen 2013 on anything from the park. But blogs seem to be saying either Spring/Summer/Mid 2013. There was also a rumour it was "delayed", however there's no opening date (not even opening month) stated so how would they know?
  12. It said on signs Toy Story Land closes 1h30m before the fireworks. Also the parachute ride wasn't working. You can usually get a good view of Mystic Point from up there.
  13. The path between Grizzly Gulch and Toy Story Land is now closed. I went to see if I could get some good photos of any new construction today, but alas the path is closed so I could only get some rubbish ones. Also the new shop in Toy Story Land is taking shape (called Andy's Toy Box).
  14. I guess it probably does have OTSR then. Still looks very exciting.
  15. YOU GOT TO DO WHAT? I've never been more jealous of someone in my life! Were they filming?
  16. It's a fangirl blog Community, Doctor Who, Joss Whedon and British comedy mainly.
  17. I got a great view of Hong Kong Disneyland when I flew in August.
  18. Mine is pretty long but off the top of my head: 1. Japan (Which will be ticked off in 2013) 2. Berlin 3. Eat pizza and pasta in Italy 4. Road trip around Texas 5. Halong Bay, Vietnam 6. North Korea (not kidding) 7. Have a Singapore Sling in Singapore 8. Escargot in Paris 9. Palau, Micronesia 10. A vineyard tour in the Napa Valley
  19. Definite: All the places on the Japan trip. Revisit Hong Kong Disneyland a bunch of times. Making plans: Chimelong Paradise. Happy Valley Shenzhen. Hopefully (if I fly back home in summer at all): Thorpe Park. Alton Towers. Drayton Manor. Oakwood. If I don't go to Cedar Point and Kings Island (and other parks in those areas) next year I will be going in 2014.
  20. ^Wow, another thing on the Japan trip to be excited for.
  21. In long queues alone I usually alternate between reading on the Kindle app and pretending to read on my Kindle app while silently judging people who are saying stupid things. Also there's the constant battle against queue jumpers and people who don't know what personal space is.
