I count clones, but I won't count something like Space Mountain at Disneyland. It is an entirely new track/structure, but it's the same ride. Wooden coasters have their wood replaced over time; I doubt that a vintage '20s woodie still has much---if any---of its original wood or components. Even though Colossus and the Matterhorn are two entirely different tracks, I just count them as one. Eric

One day, I hope to get to SFoT. Maybe next year if my mom and I return to visit her family in Amarillo like we did this past May---we'll just take a side trip to Dallas/Fort Worth! I'd like to see SFMM announce ten new rides in one season, but I doubt that'll ever happen. Eric

^ That's a very good question. I'd like to think that SFMM would take the noise of the coaster into consideration. It would be great if the Japanese Gardens at the top of the mountain would return in some form. That was a nice, peaceful area, and a theme park (or SFMM ) needs someplace for guests to be able to sit and enjoy a little peace and quiet. Eric

When I went to USH in August, the attendant asked me to take off my phone and camera before riding Revenge of the Mummy. I told her that everything was secure, but she made me go to the lockers and put my stuff in before she'd let me on. Fortunately, unlike a certain chain whose trademark is flying a half dozen banners at their parks, Universal's lockers give you 90 minutes for free. Eric
