  1. Actually, for the "down arrow," use a capital V. It looks better. ^ Wants to be a head doctor. < Wants to give his diabetes away. V Wants to drive the street cleaner.
  2. ^ Please tell me what that banana is riding on! Eric
  3. ^ I've heard that, too, but I don't think that means that Cedar Fair can't tinker with it enough to suck out all of its charm, though. Personally, I think it will stay in some form. I think even Cedar Fair knows that Ghost Town is a winning themed area. Eric
  4. Never been there, but from what I've seen and heard, no. Have you ever been inside a courtroom for any reason?
  5. I've left Knott's through the Western Ave. gate a number of times, Haunt or not. Solace is another time you can use it. Honestly, I like the totem pole-themed Topple Tower. That would make a nice addition to Wild Water Wilderness. It wouldn't take up much space, either. Another coaster at Knott's? Eh, they have plenty for their size. I suppose they could build a parking structure in the lot across Beach Blvd., which would free up the Supreme Scream lot (south of the park) for expansion. But like Joey said, the park still has to deal with the local residents. Eric
  6. If ACEers are invited to anything, it would be Media Day, which is usually a day or two before actual opening. Eric
  7. Climb aboard! We'll be handing out biscuits shortly. Eric
  8. [whispers] Yes. Does your state have its State Quarter in circulation yet?
  9. ^ It seems so...SFMM! Eric
  10. ^ "Northridge rehab," huh? Yeah, Psyclone was much better before that. Eric
  11. Knott's used to be right in between Disneyland and SFMM, but once Cedar Fair came in, they started cranking up the thrills and pulling down the tradition. Unfortunately, thrills are where the money is, so that's where they headed to keep the park at least somewhat competitive. Eric
  12. I always thought it was cool to look to the side and watch the park go all the way around. That view is gone now, thanks to the OTSRs. But at least I can still do that on Montezooma's Revenge at Knott's! Eric
  13. ^^ "I would not dare to try to take a picture with other people in the same room." I would---keep 'em guessing! Eric
  14. ^ Isn't landlocked. < Never been landlocked. V Should be locked up!
  15. I believe they are in fact having the RideWorld event again. Contact Chris Godsey about that. He'll know. Eric
  16. You're also not looking directly at it, but rather on an angle. But it does look steep anyway. Eric
  17. I wouldn't even say slim. Even if it's complete, it'll be testing at best. But it could open in late March/early April, though. Eric
  18. No, or you'll get shot. Is your grandma bringing Asians over for dinner?
  19. ^ Needs more Starbucks. < Needs no Starbucks. V Needs bucks for therapy!
  20. ^ I don't want to grow up, either. I turned 46 in August, but I still feel like I did 25 years ago on the inside. I tend to look at almost everything in a humorous sort of way. Eric
  21. Don't those little huts between the tracks provide enough of a perception of speed? If I sit on the inside seat of either car, I feel like I'm going to get my arm ripped off if I stick it out. All in all, I still enjoy riding S:TE, but its time has passed, given some rides that have come since. But I still get plenty of floater air when the car gets to its highest point, whether at the "before" or "after" line. My rides are usually closer to the "before" line. Eric
  22. Eh, for some reason, tumbleweeds gather at our house during high winds. Where they come from, who knows? That Mazda should be honored that it's so loved by these random critters. That lift hill is going to be steep, judging by that lift piece thingie. Eric
  23. No, I don't want glass all over the place! Have you ever thrown trash out of your car?
  24. Superman hasn't raced in a long time, but back in early '98, I spent an afternoon riding (park was closed) to tape a Discovery Channel show. We raced many times that day. 8) Eric
  25. ^ That looks like the third drop and the climb up to the long descent into the loop. It was probably taken from the Orient Express. And, pvcoasterguy, you're right about Revolution's OTSRs. The park had to put them on because of some class action lawsuit from what I heard. Also, when I rode Whizzer at Great America in California, it didn't even have seatbelts. I'm guessing that before Six Flags bought the Illinois park, it ran without seatbelts as well. Eric
