  1. I...yam...off to Vons, wish me luck! Eric
  2. ^ Yes, a woman was killed on Rail Blazer, the retrofit standup coaster at Six Flags St. Louis. I don't know what happened, exactly, but it was on that ride. Eric
  3. ^ Interesting...Diana and I were out there yesterday to renew our season passes and, yes, some of it was painted, but nowhere near half of it. That is, unless they got a lot done today. Eric
  4. You can always go to the official Six Flags Magic Mountain website and find out what's there. Or just hang around here long enough! Eric
  5. ^ Speaking of scientifical stuff, try lighting magnesium on fire. That's interesting. Eric
  6. The jawbreaker was invented by a poor, misguided soul who wanted revenge by punching unsuspecting people in the mouth, thus breaking their jaw. So, to get around criminal charges, he developed a hard candy that would achieve the same purpose...insidiously... So...why does The Andy Griffith Show come on at 7pm on Nick at Nite?
  7. ^ Mad about being a girl. < Mad about losing my job. V Mad about dropping his Twinkie into the lake!
  8. I just noticed...it's 10th Annual Mormon Night in 1978, and it's 13th Annual Mormon Night just two years later. Did I miss something? How did that work? Eric
  9. I'll say it again, I like the track plans. But that's because I have a thing for maps and seeing how things are laid out from above. Thanks for keeping the good stuff coming, Shane! Eric
  10. I actually did Baja Reef at Marineland once. It was an...interesting concept. Put on a pre-sterilized swim suit, grab your snorkel, and jump in! Eric
  11. Because metalheads head so much metal. Why do trains blow their horns before approaching a crossing?
  12. ^ It looks like your bunny is wearing a beret! Eric
  13. ^ Honestly, Shane, I've quite enjoyed it. Perhaps I've not conveyed that well enough in any of my posts. Eric
  14. Time for another trip to Vegas. Every time I see a Las Vegas TR (and I seem to see a bunch lately), it always makes me want to go there. Eric
  15. ^ Floridian who capitalizes every word. < Californian who capitalizes only words that need it. V Vekoman who bumps heads with everyone!
  16. When I can scrape some money together, I'm looking at getting a Canon Rebel XTi. I've heard good things about that one. Eric
  17. Diana and I just got our 2008 SFMM season passes renewed today, but I found out that she has to work next weekend. That means I'll be on my own for this one. Eric
  18. Pony Express at Knott's will be just over 1300 feet long. Was there a track length for the one going into Darien Lake? Eric
  19. I don't have any money right now, so I can't buy anything, so...NO. Do you eat bacon on a daily basis?
  20. ^ Wow...I didn't know Mustangs came in that color! And, do you have LED taillights on your car? It looks like it. That's one thing I'd like to get on my CR-V, but haven't been able to find them. Eric
  21. It's almost 2pm...WHERE'S MY DAMNED LUNCH?!?!? Eric
  22. Funny thing...looking at the track plans for the various rides has inspired me to turn on the ol' AutoCAD and recreate ones for rides I've ridden. That was the first time that I've seen a track plan for The Bat at Kings Island. Also, I went to Google Maps and entered Arrow's old address from their brochures (1555 Plymouth, Mountain View, CA) and discovered that it's just up U.S. 101 a couple of miles from Calfornia's Great America. No doubt I drove past there in the late '70s when operations were still there. Eric
  23. ^ Needs to get back to college. < Should go back to college. V Should go to Home Depot for a staple gun!
  24. Goo can only run so far before it hardens. They've done Lime, Vanilla, and Cherry, so why doesn't Coca Cola market Orange Coke?
  25. Because if it went off, no one would see it. Why don't we eat dessert before a meal?
