  1. I'm thinking about taking a leave of absence from Internet message boards. Whaddaya think? Eric
  2. ^ Hooked on Guitar Hero. < Hooked on Diet Coke. V Hooked on the fence because his suspenders got caught!
  3. No, but I've walked a couple of them. Are you drinking anything right now?
  4. Yes, and he can't drive worth crap! Do you know what an In-N-Out Flying Dutchman is?
  5. ^ I think "Cinderella" is already taken. But thanks anyway. I was at In-N-Out awhile ago and noticed that they're paying $10/hr. now---at least here in Southern California. Eric
  6. So they don't have to walk. We know it's unhealthy, but why do some people still smoke?
  7. Anyone want to give me a job, period? Mine's ending in a week. Eric
  8. ^ Ate his own cooking. < Ate hospital food 13 months ago that really wasn't bad. V Ate his own cooking and put himself in the hospital!
  9. ^ We'll just say you're "adventurous..." Eric
  10. ^ The Mark III trains did not have seating like that, so I'm going to say (as I did before) that everything is new. Maybe it's just me, but those seats look like they're not padded. Hopefully, that won't be the case. Eric
  11. It's a trap---they're supposed to get you high so you'll go out and buy as many as you can! Why don't drink coasters have lift hills?
  12. "Or are the front and rear cars completely new?" (PURE) From what I understand, everything is brand new. They'd be fools to use 50-year-old parts for these trains. The Mark Vs were based on the original trains, but those weren't quite 30 years old at the time. To me, that was bad enough. Eric
  13. I thought he was cool; never met him, though. Why do people nowadays end sentences with "and stuff like that?"
  14. Many times...and *GASP* I've been to their home! Have you ever drawn your initials or name in wet cement?
  15. "Sure, it's a crappy name, but last time I checked, the name has nothing to do with ride experience." (WDWCP22) So, according to your logic, they should build, say, a runaway mine train and call it "Possum" since that has nothing to do with the ride experience. Seriously, Top Gun will be a great ride, even if it's called Flight Deck. Not the greatest name, I agree, and I'm not losing sleep over it. But they could have put some thought into it, though. Eric
  16. ^ Fan of AstroWorld. < Fan of railroads. V Fan of swimming in Jello!
  17. I'm fixin' to eat me dinner. Eric
  18. It's an evil plot by Juan Valdez to get you hooked on the stuff. Why do some cars have that dark blue tint at the top of the windshield, and some don't?
  19. I remember waaayyy back when I was 38. Needed to go into town and the Model T wouldn't start... Anyway, sounds like you had a great day, Robb. Eric
  20. ^ You live near a railroad museum...for that you should be grateful. Eric
  21. I'm glad to see Legoland get something like this. I think it'll be a good fit for the park. My last visit was in 2001. Time to go back... Eric
  22. I have to admit...I thought it was TPR's Guy, but of course found out otherwise. I'm sure lots of people have done this on Big Shot or other similar rides, so it's not really a big deal. Eric
  23. Nice TR of the Santa Monica Pier. I haven't been to Pacific Park in about five years. One of you guys should have contacted me...I'd have loved to have been there---it's less than an hour's drive down PCH from home! Eric
  24. ^^ Wow! Another "Eric" on the board---and just a quarter of my age, too! Eric
  25. If I took a short time, then more people would have gotten a chance. How many cans of soda can you put into a Macho Sized drink cup at Del Taco?
