  1. ^ Hit a bunch of posts. < Hit Daphne's for dinner. V Hit a bunch of posts---on his bicycle!
  2. ^ In the Cool Zone near Colossus, there were two M&Ms machines. Neither one worked (for me, anyway, so I should have complained during the Q&A ), but one was priced at $1.50, and the other at $1.75. Odd, but that's how it was. Eric
  3. I believe the cups are made from #5 or #6 plastic, which is food grade---and the same type that fast food places use. Generally, the higher the number, the better the plastic for containers. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about plastic or components of it leaching into your soda. Besides, what's in the soda is not likely any better for you. Eric
  4. ^ Even speaking as an ACE member, I will say that so many of them just have the wrong attitude, that is, like the parks owe them favors. Trouble is, that kind of attitude really rubs the parks the wrong way and makes them re-think hosting events for that group. Eric
  5. I like cats. I was born under the sign of the cat. I'm a cool cat. I started all of these sentences with "I" and ended them with a "t." Eric
  6. When was the first time? I have yet to do that... When was the last time you waited for a train?
  7. ^ Nice seeing you at SFMM, Colin. Maybe next time I'll actually have a conversation with you! Eric
  8. I got a nice e-mail from Jay earlier today, thanking me for sending him .jpg copies of my 1971 park map. He said he'd find a way to get that printed out and into the museum. And he expressed regret, too, about me not finding my camera. Eric
  9. This will be a new type of ride---a "coast and barf." Eric
  10. This sounds fair to me. Even regular fast food places have higher prices for their small drinks. So you pay for a souvenir cup at the beginning of the season and bring it back each time. How many sodas can you drink? In our town, we can recycle any kind of plastic (#1 through #7, the numbers inside the triangles), so I can just toss an old cup into the recycle bin if I don't want it anymore. Eric
  11. One time at Mooseburger Lodge, our lunch cost $57,000. I mean, I knew theme park food was expensive, but... No, it was a goof and got fixed. My credit card is safe. Eric
  12. ^ Y'know, there is help available... Eric
  13. I have my trusty three-year-old LG VX4500. It works fine and I have no need to get a new one. This one makes and receives calls. Period. No camera, no music player, no games, no death ray... Eric
  14. I was seen a couple of times on those Discovery Channel coaster shows---does that count? Are you feeling well and healthy right now?
  15. I need to get back to work because I have nothing to do and I spend too much time on these message boards. (Not that being here is a bad thing, but earning a living is a bit more important...) Eric
  16. ^^ I got a Diet Coke from the machines near Colossus and paid cash. $3.50 is bad enough for a 20-oz. soda. I also noticed that there were two M&M machines there---one with a $1.50 price and one with a $1.75 price for the same thing. Neither machine worked anyway (I wonder if these machines were the ones that lady complained about), so I just went over and got something else to munch on just before the Q&A session. Eric
  17. ^ You loved him, but will you leave him? Eric
  18. ^ I stood right next to you at one point and didn't even say hi---and I should have. So, a day late...Hi! Anyway, I know I've said this somewhere, but to everyone, please let Jay and his staff know what a fine job they did if you haven't already. Eric "Has already" L.
  19. Great Photo TR. I'd have taken one, but as everyone in the world knows, my camera got lost very early in the day. It was nice to meet the two of you, also. Eric
  20. SFMM's Ninja wouldn't work anywhere else. It's a fun ride, but the way it interacts with its terrain just adds to it. Eric
  21. One of these days, I'm going to ride that Galloping Goose at Knott's. Eric
  22. October 2006 When was the last time you signed your name?
  23. ^ Only child. < Not enough hair for a mullet, but has an only child. V Not enough intellect for a mullet!
  24. It's time for dinner. Maybe I'll eat a burrito. So now you know... Eric
  25. John (Jhcbiinoc) and I were there till 10:30. In fact, we had an entire Scream! train to ourselves. It was pretty dead, though, but we got some great night rides! Glad I went. I needed this. Eric
