Disneyland Mark VII Monorail Discussion
ebl replied to bflag's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm not sure why they would have designed trains to fit WDW's track when they were going to be used here in CA? Almost sounds like they tried to save money and ended up spending more to fix the problems. Eric -

"It makes little to no sense to have both a B&M invert and floorless in the same park, as they create the exact same riding experience" (Bolliger&Mabillard) SFMM has both a Batman inverted, and a floorless (Scream!), and they are located close to each other in the park. To me, the riding experience isn't that similar. In SFMM's case, Batman is more forceful than Scream!, and Scream! has different kinds of inversions. Eric -
Here in SoCal, our taxes are about 36 cents per gallon if I recall correctly. So that'll bring our prices down to $3.50 or so for regular. Not much of a savings, plus a lot of lost tax revenue. I'm all for developing new or improving existing technology to free us from oil dependency. Eric

Earlier tonight as I was leaving SFMM, I saw a Chevron station with $4.45 diesel at the corner of The Old Road and Magic Mountain Parkway. It's gettin' up there... Eric

Happy Birthday, Mike! Maybe I'll see you out at SFMM tomorrow---or the next time I go. Eric

Twice---for lunch and dinner! Do you mow your lawn?

"The food prices didn't seem *too* bad until I saw what 3 chicken tenders and fries cost." (BeemerBoy) They could be the big chicken strips, in which case it would "sort of" be worth it. We do have minor league baseball here in SoCal, but I've never been to a game. Looks like fun, though. Eric

^ The girls own iPods. An iPod I have not. But, since I'm the admin here at home, I can delete it if I want. Would it hurt to leave it on? Eric

A bit off-topic...what is Apple Safari? Is that some sort of operating system or an anti-spyware thing. Somehow I got that loaded earlier and want to know if I should keep it. Eric
