  1. ^ Don't forget, no Internet. Eric
  2. ^ Changing his title must be painful. Eric
  3. ^ So do I. A good 1/3-pound burger is just right for me. Eric
  4. "I think what EBL is refering to is the legal costs on the Government to have someone executed, not the cost of bullets and a noose." (larrygator) Correct. And besides, rope ain't that expensive at Home Depot. The way I see it, while some people are certainly deserving of their date with Old Sparky, I'd rather see the money go toward education or something worthwhile. At one time, I believed that the death penalty was a deterrent. While it may have been at one time, I no longer believe that to be the case. Executions just take too long to happen. It's not like it was in the Old West where the judge sentenced an offender to hang in three days or so. Eric
  5. ^ For some reason, I seem to remember seeing or hearing something about that closing for a major remake when I was there in October 2006. This must have been it. Eric
  6. ^ From what I can gather, the lift will be toward the back left side of the ride (that's as viewed from the Sky Tower). It will rise toward the south (left, again from the tower), and the trains will make a left turn off of the top and into the first drop. That's about all I know about the layout. Eric
  7. It sounds like the Rio Del Tiempo was replaced in the Mexico pavilion, si? That was there when I was last there, and while I remember it having a rather annoying song, thankfully I can't remember the song now! Eric
  8. This is perhaps the best WDW Photo TR I've read. Looks like you had a great time, Chuck! I look forward to the rest of the report. Unfortunately, it makes me miss WDW. Two years is too long since my last visit. Eric
  9. ^ It's fairly simple: 1. Robb became an obstetrician at some point. 2. Elissa is assisting in the birth. 3. A surrogate mother is giving birth to the forums. Exactly how I pictured it! Eric
  10. ^ I think they're playing with the various meanings of the word "gay." It'd be like saying, "Tacky as a bulletin board." Eric
  11. Never tried that, but I've heard it tastes like chicken. But then, doesn't everything? Do you get the largest sized drink when you eat out?
  12. ^ Has a nice "package deal." < Is a nice guy. V Has a nice package waiting at UPS!
  13. Personally, I feel that capital punishment is neither cruel and unusual, nor is it unconstitutional. It is a fair punishment for first degree murder. However, realistically, the costs involved to the state are enormous. It is less expensive to house a criminal for life, believe it or not. States could save a ton of money and put it to much better use by sentencing a person found guilty of first degree murder to life imprisonment without any possibility of parole. Eric
  14. ^^ Yeah, I've seen that at Burger King, though I have yet to order one and probably never will. But this made me think of something: would anyone ever order a double, triple, or quadruple decker chicken sandwich? Eric
  15. Four years has flown by very quickly. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. Here's to many more years of this forum! Eric
  16. ^ I think it's more fun to speculate. Eric
  17. Nice stuff, Shane. But it only serves to remind me that it's been almost seven years since I've been to this park. I need to go back. Eric
  18. ^ They could call it a Five Dollar Burger to make it look like a bargain compared to Carl's Jr.'s Six Dollar Burger. Eric
  19. Occasionally while I'm answering the question another thought pops into my mind and I try to resolve that before I forget what it was in the first place otherwise I'd leave the person hanging and I wouldn't want them to have to sleep on something that just might have some sort of impact on their lives. So the short answer is, no, I don't usually go off on tangents but this time I did. Did that make sense?
  20. ^ But if McDonald's created theme parks, all of their rides would have the big boy seats so that they can accommodate guests who've been eating their food. On the other hand, however, I've seen a few kids get stuck in the tunnels in the outdoor play structure thingie. Why did they get stuck? Because they've been eating at McDonald's too often... Eric
  21. ^ Speaking of chocolate, regarding M&Ms "Fun Size" packs...wouldn't it be more fun if the packs were a half pound? Somehow, the one-ounce packs aren't as much fun. Eric
  22. ^ Schizophrenic. < Diabetic. V Six Flags employee!
  23. Yep...while I was there. Do you enjoy a warm cup of tea?
  24. Del Taco is red and yellow as well. Maybe this ride will spice things up a bit wherever it goes... Eric
  25. SFMM has indeed improved overall. But some ride crews could certainly step it up a bit. There's no excuse for five-minute dispatches on coasters. I've already previously stated what I think ought to be done, so I won't say it again. Eric
