  1. I like the restraints on those trains. Nothing we'll ever see in California, of course, but very secure, yet unconfining. That looks like a lot of fun, too. Eric
  2. ^^ Truth. People don't realize how much energy it takes to move all that water. Tidal Wave has been closed the last few times I've been out at SFMM. While I do like flumes, the splashwater rides don't do much for me, so I wouldn't miss Tidal Wave if it's removed. Eric
  3. ^ Speaks differently from how she posts. < Really doesn't say much in real life. V Really doesn't do much in real life!
  4. I think Tidal Wave is too big for Flashback's old spot. The ride is 20 years old, so I'm almost inclined to think that SFMM will just get rid of it. Freefall's old location along with Tidal Wave's rumored to open up spot would make a nice big area to put something, be it Wiggles World or next year's coaster. Eric
  5. ^ I just did that. Weren't Enterprises built by Schwarzkopf? I remember the one at SFMM having the Schwarzkopf logo on each of the cars, just like on the Revolution trains at one time. Eric
  6. It's like a summer day here in SoCal...just beautiful. Eric
  7. ^ Doesn't know that we haven't had a 55mph national speed limit since 1995. < Does know that. V Doesn't know squat!
  8. Can't speak for your mind, but if it were "plane" old super glue, it might fly. What would happen if Staples ran out of staples?
  9. No, but I did fly in a Westland helicopter over L.A. at over 100 mph. Have you ever had an actual piggy bank?
  10. One question I did ask Tim at WCB was if the heavier weight of the themed Millennium Flyer trains would have an impact on the ride over time, and he gave me a resounding "NO!" Of course, if you remember Psyclone's relatively light structure vs. Terminator's dense structure, I will agree with him. In effect, he said that even though Psyclone's trains were too heavy, it was the lack of suppoft structure that did that ride in. Now I'm not too worried about Terminator's trains, even if they have the heavy sound system aboard as well as additional stuff attached to the cars. Eric
  11. If they keep taking their baths in the mud, yeah, they'll stink all right... Why does the U.S. Mint keep changing our change?
  12. Just looking at Gregg's Batman photo with his son made me glad that SFMM hasn't joined some of its sister parks in painting their Batman rides yellow. I like the industrial look that ours has. And great update on Terminator. That's going to be a wonderful addition to the park. I have to say that I'm glad that they're charging for X2 for the Flash Pass. If it were free, the "regular" line would be ridiculously long. The single rider line at Deja Vu was a great way to ride it without a long wait...I'll miss that. Eric
  13. This looks like a lot of fun! You think they'll ever put in something like this at Hurricane Harbor? Eric
  14. I always laugh at the guy who runs the casino business. Sometimes he needs to borrow a pen from me to sign a contract or whatever, and the last few times he's said, "You still have that pen? You've had that for, like, forever..." TPR = Their Pens Rule! Eric
  15. Had SFMM closed when it was "supposed to," there would have been a TON of unsold homes on that spot, given where the economy went. I'm glad that Six Flags had the foresight to keep the park open. Though I've never been to Wild Rivers, it's nice to see that it will be around a bit longer. Eric
  16. Nice report, Chuck. BGE is one park I really want to visit sometime. But I have to wonder---does the Williamsburg area have a high number of double leg amputees? This is the first time I've seen such a warning on a sign. Eric
  17. ^ Xpress---must be fast. < Pumbaa---must be slow. V No avatar---must be boring!
  18. "If they were mechanical pencils that used #2 lead, I'd be all up on them." (CTU Agent) As a former mechanical drafter, I'd get one of those. Honestly, a nice TPR pen and pencil set would make a good item to sell. Eric
  19. Corn syrup = FAIL! They might as well have used real cane sugar. And should have unless they went with Splenda or stevia. Eric
  20. How could there be a fire in space? There's no oxygen out there... Eric
  21. ^ Big and cheesy. < Average and sleepy. V GINORMOUS AND STINKY!!1!11!!!
  22. ^ Good thing you didn't post a picture...we'll just have to use our imaginations... Eric
  23. As a rule, no, but my wife says I do occasionally depending on which position I'm in. Do you like your job?

"Eric, as a diabetic, can you still enjoy a tommys chili cheese burger??" (ChrisZer0) With enough insulin, I can eat most anything, but I do have to be at least somewhat sensible. Truth is, even before diabetes, Tommys' chili burgers gave me incredible heartburn, so I didn't eat them much. Strangely, though, I do like them---and their chili is good for dipping fries...which...I also don't eat much of anymore. Was that a rambling answer or what? Eric
