  1. Looking at renewing pass at WOF 84.95 for Maxxpass 74.95 by Nov 10 164.95 Maxpass with waterparks 149.95 by Nov 10 Addititional 80 for waterparks seems kind of steep. It was only +30 last year.
  2. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3478.htm?picture=3 What the heck is this?
  3. http://www.grandcountry.com/hotel.asp Grand Country Inn has an indoor water park. This new one looks real nice. Would make a nice place to stay for a SDC Christmas trip.
  4. Silver Dollar City's is the best I've been on. The train robbers are fun and go off script alot and joke with you.
  5. WARNING- All who have posted "SOB SUX" or "tear er down" will be called as an expert witness for the defense.
  6. They will check in your baggage and hold your carry on bags for you. I dropped off everything in the AM and hit parks until it was time for our bus to depart the resort. They give you dep. bus time when you check in.
  7. I'm 41 and the first coaster I rode was Mad Mouse at the defunct Chain-of-Rocks Park in St. Louis in about 1971-72? This was same model as at Little A-Merrik-A except first turn at top of lift was at edge of a cliff. I always thought the car was going to fly off and fall over cliff.
  8. My daughter turned 8 last year and became a hard-core coasterhead like her Dad. In 2 weeks her world will be rocked, I have a 2 week trip planned to CP GL PKI SFKK HW and Beech Bend. I wish I could film her on TTD and MF. And get this, with out any input from me or Coaster forums, she doesn't like Vekoma or Arrow coasters! She really likes B&M's alot.
  9. http://www.wucc.org/colorcodes.html uniform color codes for locate markings Locates are required for all excavations to protect the contractor/utility co. They could be putting a flower box or doing core samples? 2 locate markings do not make a coaster project. Only time and the undercover covert TPR spies will tell.
  10. You need to watch "Deliverance" the night before you go. You can pick up on some lingo.
  11. I agree Patriot is definately a back seat ride. My first couple of rides were up front and then jumped in the back. It seems like a totally different ride in back. The floater hill over the station is the best part of the ride. Night rides on Mamba are much better also, but be advised everytime I ride front seat at night I always seem to take a bug in the face in the helix. Timberwolf is much better with the retracking that has been done. Last year was terrible.
  12. Kumba9 Here is a shot of Mamba from Saturday. You can see undercarriage pretty good.
  13. June 2 as stated on TPR calendar. I am arriving on June 18th I hope they can get parts installed by then.
  14. The Boss is running much better this year. Best ride is Front, You get great ride on double down. Make sure you have everything secure in your pockets or you will lose it.
  15. $11 for slice and a Coke but the puddle of grease is free!
  16. Too many incidents=Engineering miscalculations? Cables flying out into the Midway could be disastrous if it is crowded.
  17. Viacom is only selling naming rights to the China park. They make money doing nothing but let them use movie/TV show themes/names.
  18. Since travelling carnival season is beginning, I thought this would be fun. Post picture of the worst carnival ride. You know the type that should be cut up and melted down instead of being operated. And along the same lines capture the scruffiest looking carney. I think TPR members could get some outrageous pictures. At the end of season top entries would be voted on.
  19. That is only 1/2 the size of a Texas rabbit.
  20. That is a school day. Lines could be 15-20 min for Freeze and Batman. Boss may be 5-10 min. The others should be a walk-on.
  21. Is it me or does the snowman look like he is taking a dump?
  22. Go over to Disboards and read thru the forum. Most the people there practially live there and know all the details of everything at Disney. Epcot is my fav park. MK is pure fantasy. You will feel like you are 12 again. AK is fun I wish EE was open when I was there. Dinosaur was great. ToT and RNR at MGM are the best thrills at Disney. EMH nights at MK was intensly crowded first week of June last year. Everyone staying on-property heads to EMH park.
