  1. And one of the roughest population areas. The clientele is really going to make it tough to become the "Disney of the North", among other reasons.
  2. I guess I didn't take into consideration the Safari, which is probably most of that figure. Plus what's the likelihood they'll ever use those 700 undeveloped acres? To the time machine!
  3. ^^Is there a link to that Six Flags land holding information? 2200 acres seems *huge*
  4. Corkscrew and Wacky Soap Box Racers were both Arrow But it is quite an eclectic mix off 11 different manufacturers (throughout the history). I guess those were the best/cheapest/most compelling companies to provide offers at each respective time.
  5. Screamscape keeps posting rumors about Bizarro leaving the park. While it would make business sense, I would hate to see it go. I'm one of the five people in the world that still enjoy the ride; maybe it's still nostalgia 'cause I remember how totally awesome it was (in my humble 8-year-old opinion) opening year.
  6. Longest line that I can remember is Green Lantern at Great Adventure a week after it opened... 2 hours in the hot sun and not really worth the wait. Worst line experience? Storm Runner, opening year. I went as part of a middle school band function. I had to be at the Hershey Arena by a certain time, but I decided to try SR. My friends abandoned me though so I had to wait alone. Well, an hour and a half passed, and I was at the front of the line, and really anxious because I was going to be late getting to the arena. Wouldn't you know it, right as I was about to get on, the ride broke down, so I had to do the Walk of Shame through the entire huge line. But then I rode it the next year, and it totally ruled
  7. Interesting. Are they making the Safari into a guided tour? I haven't been through the Safari in years. I would do one last ride-through, but I'm not terribly excited about having monkeys jump all over my car. Maybe that's why they're doing away with the self-driven aspect. EDIT: I'm guessing this is what the 2013 announcement will be about?
  8. ^Do what my dad did: Stuff balled-up socks into the bottoms of her shoes
  9. The Six Flags Paper Mill is the only place I could think of that would ever find Rattler to be useful anymore.
  10. ^ I'm pretty sure SFOT hinted at a coaster on their Facebook page.
  11. I don't really keep track, but I'm pretty sure #100 was Mind Eraser at SFNE. Batman Dark Knight was #101
  12. Has anyone suggested a Eurofighter? Or perhaps an ultra-compact B&M like Daemonen?
  13. Looks more like an isotope to me, though the notation is completely wrong. I guess you don't leave science to viral marketing experts.
  14. Still holding out hope for another Togo Hypercoaster.
  15. ^Great Adventure had a post about National Roller Coaster Day, so I guess it's legit? At least today was when SFI celebrates it.
  16. Hersheypark (x3) Kennywood Six Flags Great America Heide Park Coming up: Six Flags Great Adventure (x2) It's been, and shall continue to be, a pretty productive year.
  17. I kinda have the feeling we'll all be super disappointed when the announcement comes. Maybe a family launcher similar to Manta.
  18. ^ Wooden launch into an overbanked triple helix?
  19. If Cedar Fair really did have an obligation with B&M, wouldn't they put it in a park that had more room?
  20. Not if it's a twisty layout like I305. Maybe a few speed hills like on Leviathan. Whatever it is Knott's has planned, I'm sure they've figured it out by now. Also, maybe the 3rd B&M is going to Michigan's Adventure
