  1. And so they have almost reached the highest point (only thing making it bigger now is the track that will be on top of it and the wheels next to the towers). Went a lot quicker then I thought didn't think they would be this far until noon tomorrow but hey no complains that means everything is going well. Well let's hope next week on some fresh B&M steel on the site so I have something to watch when I'm there the 14th, can't wait to see it myself now. Talking about track someone said they have spotted it on the highway, but yeah it's the same old story of: "I didn't had a camera so no photo".
  2. Does anybody els think that the logo really looks like that of Wodan at Europa park?
  3. It looks beautiful, Kinda want to go to the park this weekend to go check it out instead of going next week. But lets see what this week brings and go with that. They're actually quite high up already I mean If I'm correct they're halfway there with the support.
  4. I have finalized today the summer map. Next update I have winter version (almost completely re-done.) Overview: The 5 attraction blocks, I have changed (I have this done quickly in between and thus only additions and modifications where done, nothing removed that comes later.) Central park portion (ABC to Hnr.): Maren Empire (ABC to Hnr.): Travel Empire (ABC to Hnr.): Rough Empire (Baron there and ABC to Hnr.): Another Realm: (ABC to Hnr.): The Cake Stall is also on the map now: And the renewed Statue of Pardoes:
  5. Possible and not Possible. That was the comment I erased after not doing my homework upfront. Look at these pictures of the footers of the Lift: Source. The footers have the bolts in a square and not in a circle like the pole, I have no idea what purpose it will have maybe it will be placed there (adding a piece to make the bottom into a square) or maybe it is the Chimney or a axel for the wheel up top. Right now I have no idea what it is suppose to do.
  6. Ignore: I didn't do my homework and I guessed wrong.
  7. I worked this week on some small things like small Food stands, added a park plan in the park and created the new ticket vending machine of Raveleijn. I also nocked down the Pardoes statue on main way so I can make it smaller. (Sorry because of the many locations I don't have any pictures of it.) I also added trees: The last thing of this update, to celebrate 5 years of working on this project I'm going to take a copy of it back to 2010 the year it all started. (Of-course an up to that version and no remake to see how far I came). For this I'm going to use a remade version of the original Raveleijn Circle: I also made some chances to the Circle's I still had: Realm of Fantasy now has 2 years on it (original I had 2012 on it but Hartenhof still incoming I added 2020): Baron 1898 Circle got another color (same as the track): This also set me to remake the original Aquanura Circle: I also tried to remake the Emperors new cloths circle but I couldn't (there is no image of the original good enough). So I'm going into another way with the Fairy tale circle's instead I'm going to use Shields and for Emperors new cloths I'm still going to make one.
  8. My next visit is going to be the Efteling 14 of February, hoping on some Baron track.
  9. Interesting to hear that the lift structure is coming from Budapest (Hungary). For the rest good to hear construction hasn't got any blow so far and we will see the lift and track in the beginning of February and I'll be looking forward to it. Really looking forward for my next visit now.
  10. To be honest I missed something at the end on number 7: I came across this error when I took another look at the drawing of the end of the ride (the one that was photographed near the start of construction), Just now I found photo's that confirmed the error, the reason for me to make the error where that other pictures had piles of sand in front of the other footer giving me the illusion there was only one instead of the dubble. If you look good at the last 3 red footers they're getting closer together each time, this makes me think only more that 6 isn't the brakes yet and more like a Flug der DƤmonen (Heide Park) brake at number 7.
  11. So worked on mapping the footers of the Baron: Red footers are round footers, are Green Squared (Coloured are connected). Blue of course Tunnel. I'm 100% convinced of that I have processed all footers and in the correct color (own experience in the park and look at photos). On the basis of this I made this la-out: 1 = Chain lift. 2 = Tunnel. 3 = Immlemann. 4 = Zero G Roll (Small chance on Camelback). 5 = Helix. 6? = Camelback? (Space is there and footers indicate that it may, or up a hill and into the turn down the brakes?) 7 = Brake. 8 = Station. I thought I might share this to get other people's insight about the footer placement.
  12. So apparently we have a loop and Cobra roll both taller then 100m but a drop of lift and drop of 73m. I smell a launch somewhere.
  13. A small update around Baron 1898. Seeing these footers the pattern tells me a lot about the final lay-out. I believe we have a Immlemann followed by a Zero G Roll, followed by the Helix followed by a Camelback with a turn into the brakes. Station is getting really close to being closed. another roof closed. One of the final footers of the Zero G roll. Windows are hanging on the walls of the tower. I still hope my next visit I'll see some steel here. Brick work is very well underway around the building. That it for this month.
  14. (First with such a unique project I wonder if this is the right board if not place transfer it.) Hey TPR, I have this Project I'm working of for several years now and have been showing it of on a other site. But I've been waiting for quite sometimes for the right moment to introduce it to you here on TPR, and now is that time. First some history regarding this project: This project history began in may 2010 after releasing a paint drawing of how my expectations where on Joris en de Draak (Efteling) and people where stunted (don't ask me why) by my paint skills. This let me begin new projects on paint and left 1 person to challenge me to make a Park plan of the Efteling in paint, and on 13th of July 2010 I released my first update of this monster project. The next half year I worked on the first version and 13th of December 2010 I finished it. Stance December 2010: Like the end suggested a half year later I should release the winter version. This deadline wasn't reached. I had improved my drawing skills on paint drastically already and so I decided Begin January that I better focused on the summer version more. This lead to a project starting January 1 to October 31 2011, this gave me some room to breath for the winter version that begin November 1 and finished December 13 2011. Yes this project wasn't officially until after 1 and a half year after start. Stance December 2011: 2012 was again a big year lots of new things had to be worked into the park plan and did, this lead to many things had to be redone to make it all fit making another year of complete working on it. Yet in December 2012 this work wasn't done so this lead to the first time no video update. January 2013 arrived and the park had nothing new, this lead to the point that I had no motivation for editing and in April 2013 after falling still several months in a row I made the last update. (so no new video of how it was in 2013). A year passed and news arrived from the park 2014 there would be a new Dive coaster and May 2014 this project was brought back alive I made a 2 phase project preparing for the Dive to fit on its location and updating the PiraƱa attraction to it's 2014 version. These projects where bigger then I thought and soon a Phase 3 arrived to clean things up after Phase 2 ( a complete new Anderrijk) and deciding I was doing well I even made phase 4 what would be new boats for the Gondoletta attraction and a Fix up of the entrance area and Pagode. After that I finally could start in September with Phase 5 the construction site of Baron 1898. Today I fished up Baron 1898 construction site and will enter phase 6 that is to prepare the entire Park plan for a new Winter remake (expecting to be done February to March 2015). So yeah this was the best time to introduce you guys here to to project. Today's stance: And Baron 1898 construction site: This I make for the fun but it shows the location of the new attraction and the size of it so it is relevant, and this is full of easter eggs regarding Baron 1898, Efteling and B&M. Also note the attraction circle oval thingy, this I've been doing since Raveleijn back in 2010 when I started and I still use this system today marking the new attractions. That is it for now expect to hear a lot more about it in the future and In the summer (to include Baron 1898) I will do another video showing the entire Park plan as then. For now goodbye and see you by the next update.
  15. ^Heck I'm already in if they do a D10 train with a Zero G like Gardaland Oblivion. But a Dive for Cedar Point? I need to have a lay-out in front of me to get me excited on that thought, I mean I like dives but Cedar Point seems like a park that needs some more then just a 90 degree drop.
  16. Looks like I hit the nail perfectly by going in 2017 rather than 2015 like I had in my head end of last year. But that is some list.
  17. I couldn't even turn away. Yeah it's Typhoon you're up.
  18. This next one is a easy one I guess.
  19. Because we all want to ride the ride if it was calles unicorn drop to magicland and the backstory is going to a sweet cotton candy world. In all seriousness though, Almost all thrill rides these darker themes or names because they are appealing to the groups their trying to attract with the ride. Merlin loves these more darker themes because they pay up, and I have to admit after all these new great scary themes the past few years it's good to see them do a (more space like) redesign of on of their older themes. And like I said Oblivion isn't a bad name and think about it we're coaster enthusiasts so yeah we know About Alton Towers Oblivion but GP in Italy don't.
  20. That looks wonderful so far, I can't wait to find out what ride it is (but yeah I do expect a coaster somehow) yet I can't get it out of my head that we are to wait another 11 months before the announcement (during upcoming winter). I mean it's nice if they plan to announce it just before the summer and get people pumped for the 2016 ride (yeah still a guess but 2015 absolutely not and 2017 seems to far away for now) or in September, but I can't see it now.
  21. So it was Oblivion lucky they have added the Black Hole after that (wich I got to commit that I like). So yeah happy about the name little bit disappointed about the fact that they reused Oblivion's name but not that I find the name bad for a coaster. I like the logo alot.
  22. So combining a Big Air coaster with a Mack Supersplash? I mean yeah they have the world first here but I'm not sure how much of a coaster this is, I mean we count Big Air's as credit right? Anyways looks like fun. I'm in for a visit if this is it.
  23. I think they plan to have it done upcoming week. I mean last week 2 camelbacks were completed and today they're working on the helix. Knowing that after the helix there are only two camelbacks left that are smaller I think they can have it done by friday.
  24. I don't know but I kinda like the big nets underneath the track. I have no idea why, I mean face it it looks ridiculous I agree on that, but it kinda looks like a giant receiver for radio waves and knowing the area in which the coaster stand it fits, kinda. Anyway looking forward to ride it in early April (I assume the park will open the ride with the park) looks like a fun ride.
