  1. My list... 1.) TwoFace (Invertigo) from SFA. I heard people bitching, moaning, crying and wailing about this ride everywhere- and not once did I have a bad ride on it- in any seat. Smooth, fast, thrilling, nice PozGs at the base of the loop. A great ride all over, and it was sad when they plugged it. 2.) Vortex at GA/PGA/CGA/Parkinglotland: Again, a favorite of mine- smooth, fast, and with enough 'jump' to it to make it worthwhile- and for that matter, exciting to me. It's still one of my 'must do' in CGA/Parkinglotland's dwindling arsenal. 3.) Batwing/Project Stealth (SFA and CGA/Parkinglotland again)- Would the haters please get a life here? Intense, great speed, grey-out Gz in the loop, and a funky ending to it make it a highlight ride for me. Too bad craptacular crapacity make these two dogs overall. 4.) Wildcat, HersheyPark (Pre-MilF trains)- I -LOVED- the Pissy Pussy with the old PTC trains on it- Rough, powerful, some nice slamming around, good rattling and a personality that's second to none made this my #1 wooden coaster. On a warm. wet day, those trains could make you REALLY feel every inch of the ride- and as much as the MilFs have made it more 'traditional', I miss the PTC cars. That was one ride where screaming "Who's your DADDY" made sense! 5.) While I'm on the subject: PTC CARS themselves: Quit yer bitchin, folks. They're good cars. And they are -light years- better than Morgan Rolling Stock. If you think PTC cars are bad, Go ride SDGD for a few minutes, then complain about a PTC coach. R.D.
  2. That's a bit better with the brown columns over the green ones- the track no longer appears to be 'floating' over the park itself. Perhaps sending out a groundskeeper is in order to 'groom' the grassy areas a bit. I have always enjoyed the different 'patterns' in the lawns they will make. R.D.
  3. Much better- Anton is happy again! I'll post up a few of my Schwarzkopf Clones to the exchange this week- as I've got a few of His- and a few of my own design- it's taken forever to do, but I think I've got decent ncs/nohack Schwarzkopfs in my arsenal! R.D.
  4. YOU BROKE A SCHWARZKOPF??? That is by far -worse- than breaking a mirror. It means 10,000 years of bad luck. R.D.
  5. Interesting... This park is one of the better island parks I've seen; it's consistant, it's got a great colour scheme, and it has rides that tend to 'fit' to the park itself. As for your Schwarzkopf- I like it: But I'd make a few changes to it, particularly the lift structure. Try this: Instead of 'dippling' the track out of the station, place lift/transport sections to the base of the lift- then go up from there. It works just as well as dipping out of the station, and is closer to what He would have wanted with his rides. Then, move the platform to the base of the lift structure (See also: Thriller/Taz/Zonga/whateveritiscallednowthatit'sinmexico or Olympia Looping). Otherwise, it's got the right feel of one of His rides- and I'd like to think He'd be proud of it. R.D.
  6. And no Schwarzkopf Porn... WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
  7. OK- Noted. He needs reminding rather frequently, perhaps this will wake him up a bit.
  8. Hmmmm... Interesting, interesting... But I need to see more for it to qualify as 'kleenex worthy' or not.
  9. Umm, I wasn't the one who made the joke about the mass murder of 3,000 people, now was I? As for the demolition of the tower: As of (Right now at least) the tallest high rise building (NOT structural towers such as radio towers, etc.) to be demolished was just over 440 feet- and that was the Dunes Tower, Las Vegas, NV. However, removing skyscrapers in an urban setting is a place where implosions will be nearly impossible without probable and expected damage to all surrounding structures. Buildings (especially high-rise structures) are designed to be BUILT and not REMOVED. High rises/Skyscrapers themselves are not designed for effiient removal- despite the general views shown on TV's multitude of programs on high-rise demolition- each one presents a different problem. But when you get to a vertical height over 500 feet, you have a secondary problem: Acceleration of mass of objects- that is, the falling of the material the building was made from will accelerate to a dangerous speed. Look, for example. of what happened on 9/11- from a scientific standpoint. 19 high-rises were damaged (beyond the Twin Towers) due to debris. Now make those towers higher. And of more mass. Removal of them, without significant technological advance- or destruction of other structures surrounding- is impossible. Thus my original statement is correct.
  10. It is- but... 1.) If you have any elements that are NOT part of the game original (Custom Scenery, etc.) You MUST list that in your description- AND- check the 'import all scenery' box in the Options menu of the game itself. 2.) Please list the sites where you got your rides from. Thank you, R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team
  11. It was obviously a rip on the Saudis since many of the hijackers were from there and much of the funding for Al-Qaeda pre-9/11 came from there. People dying due to extremism is wrong no matter where they come from, or where it occurs. People die either way. How is that meant to be funny?
  12. Issued a warning to Brody (A.K.A. B.A.B) about his -repeated- punctuation, grammar and spelling mistakes. I've corrected six posts in less than two days due to his lousy English skills.
  13. Talk about a -dramatc- change in attitutde.... that or he's Two-Faced (And NOT in the good, Vekoma Invertigo that should have never been removed from SFA because it was DECENT way.")
  14. Totally NOT in good taste... Especially since some of us lost people IN two 767s on 9/11. There's a place for humor- and then there's just plain bad taste.
  15. While I can appreciate the 'basic' feel of this RCT II scenario, I have to say there's some -itty-bitty- issues I have with some of the rides in there... 1.) The 'modern' splashwater falls ride dates to 1982 2.) the 'modern' Mine train dates to 1963 3.) the 'modern' RotoDrop dates to 1998 and later... Otherwise, the park looks good. But the dates of 1959 just don't fly- as the rides didn't exist then.
  16. I think it was bound to happen- in more ways than one. We've seen a few people migrate over, and we're now getting some good RCT III works (Granted, Matt, yours kicks EVERYBODYS ass...) which I think benefits that area of the exchange. And we've gotten rid of very mediocre trash- and sent the problem onto somebody else. Let them deal with it.
  17. I don't bite THAT hard... Unless requested.
  18. Many things, not just at TPR but elsewhere are victims of the perspective of the viewer- ths "Beauty is in the eye of the Beer-Holder." If those people can't deal with you being you, Robb, then I feel sorry for them. That's who you are- and professional at that. Yes, it's got your sarky sense of humor. That's you. Douche is a part of this universe. And truly- many of those people were BEING douches. So you said it exactly right. Where I have an issue is where ShyGuy gets off in trying to sound like he's the 'high and mighty' type. Please. Anybody who can sit there and not be truthful about his own site is somebody who's being... a douche. If anything, it's the six loud-mouth jackasses who keep adding fuel to the fire- and that won't happen so long as they're getting the sympathy and attention they are so desperate for.
  19. Damn. I just hope it doesn't end while I'm changing planes at LAX... I'd sure hate to have to try to deal with the world ending WHILE changing planes... Oh wait. LAX IS the end of the world.
  20. Oy.... Bents: Support structure for a wooden coaster. Term evolved from John Miller's coasters. (YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT BENTS WERE???? SHAME SHAME SHAME!)
  21. A.J.- Have you started to setup the voting for the TPR Challenge? If not- I can handle it (I've got spare time right now, at least through tommorow evening.) R.D.
  22. It must be a complete circuit Schwarzkopf Looping coaster- so launches are out. R.D.
  23. Very impressive- I like the idea that you're going step-by-step in this- some of us don't do so well in RCT III- and some of us are masters of it (I'm in the former category- I still can't figure things out along the way!) and it helps for people to see how you're doing things. I look forward to your next update. R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team
  24. I'm glad to see that (some) of those schmucks over there are in fact full of crap. And I'm (While I don't understand his actions) glad to see that their moderator (ShyGuy) is actually man enough to admit when there's been too much- I don't dig the personal attacks- that's just wrong. I find it childish and stupid, and a total waste of data space and transfer rates. Maybe now they'll get on with their lives- and realize that they can be shitheads to each other.
  25. Matt, that was the most honest, straightforward and direct post. It puts things into perspective- and to the members who were doing things wrong- it shows they were bing an ass all over. Nicely done-
