I'm finding quite a bit of this outrageous in so many ways... If anything, people are trying to bash Robb- and TPR- for reason that they are simply trying to build up their egos, and to feel 'superior' to everyone else- for reasons that make no sense at all. For fucks sake- they were caught doing things they weren't supposed to. They tried to break clearly set rules in the ToS. They lied about it, they cheated. Apparantly, accountablility has NO place in the internet... -
R.D.'s Patent's thread.
QueerRudie replied to QueerRudie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
KD: Actually- both. There's an interesting bit of 'legend/disproved facts' surrounding that- Traver, Prior and Church were (Much akin to today's standards) working together on a few projects. Traver is generally credited for coming up with the Safety Cyclone designs... HOWEVER- it's long been rumored that much like CCI- which split into GCI and Gravity Group- there was internal turmoil among the three- and while the rides themselves were credited towards Traver- they are in fact a work of the three. The same can be said of the cars: While Traver did the patents for them, the designs were very similar (Down to the flanged wheel trains) to what Prior and Church worked with. The history of this era is still very much in question- sadly- and that's something I'm trying to figure out, for clarity's sake. So yes, Prior and Church were credited, but the designs were all based on a 'mutual' design theory. GCI uses Prior and Church, as they were far more prolific in designing than was Traver- but if you look at the single-bench car assembly, they are very similar to the system that GCI uses on the Millenium Flyers- I'll chalk this one up to my lack of clarity there; I do apologize for it! I should have explained the Prior and Church connection a bit more in the original post- R.D. Patent Thread Author -

^ Actually- don't count them out at all... In 1950, Frank Lloyd Wright propsed the Denver Mile High skyscraper project- a 5,300 foot tall tower based upon some of his earlier works involving organic archetecture and his methods of design. Although too early for it's era, the design worked- at least to a degree. It would NOT surprise me at all to think that this skyscraper could be built- or even replicated over time. The question becomes: In 100 years, how in the hell do you take the thing down??? -

I think it's a case of "Wow- they are becoming successful there, and we'll be toast if we don't act out- " it reminds me in a lot of ways of some of the old "Yahoo" groups that came and went like wildfire. In all reality- once the people there (_brandon_, The Mad hatter) are exposed for being frauds and liars, this should die down. I am -so- pissed that TMH sat there and lied- not to mention, decided to make it seem like 'he's oh-so-innocent' and then jumps into the fray just to climb on a freakin cross???? Please. We need to send them a picture with the following underneath it: "Get down off that Cross. Somebody needs the wood." -

I think ShyGuy needs a reality check... If he realized how many of the people in this thread have lied, cheated and broken every imaginable part of the T.O.S. here, he might just take a second look at the shit they're pulling there- and be warned for the future. -

I noted him in my 'old fashioned' logs yesterday- but as you've said: He's got some roots elsewhere... (And yes, I still use that stuff called "Paper" to log things. In a binder, no less.) R.D. -

(Putting MOD's hat on): Please be sure to include the type of program you're using when you post your threads! (I.E. [RCT III]) Thank you. (Taking off MOD's Hat) Interesting- I like how you've 'redone' a good wooden coaster with the red-steel rails on top- I was wondering where you were going with that- and it turned out fine from there. Beyond that: Some of the transitions you find from one element to another seem not only a bit too fast- but in some cases, a bit rough- perhaps that' s me and my design theories there. But otherwise- a great project. R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team -

It's not the SIZE of your skyscraper- but what you DO with your tower that's important. (And apparantly, there is some SEERRRRIOUS overcompensating going on there.) -

While we're at it, Matt... Might as well shut up the Mad Hatter as well: After all, he was one of the dipshits in that thread fueling the fire... If they want to know WHY Mad Hatter was banned, it's easy- He wanted to win the TotW contests so badly (As he hates Robb SOOO much, apparantly) to get a Club TPR membership, that he actually went through and created multiple accounts (Because we suck so much that he needed to cheat to WIN.) So, here they are, in all their glory: The Mad Hatter's 'names' (And I.P. Addresses) The Mad Hatter: 70.187.166.122 Psych: 70.187.166.122 R.D.- The Moderating Team of the Games Exchanve and forum have found that you are using duplciate accounts to rank not only your entry into the Track of the Week Contest, but also to de-rate the tracks of other entrants. TMH: Why do you think I'm using duplicate accounts? I TRULY have no idea what you mean by that, please tell me what you mean by that because this is my only account. R.D.- OK: You asked for the answer, now you'll get it. I was reviewing the logs for the games exchange- and somebody had ranked your ride a 5.0 stars- and others .5 stars. Repeatedly. I searched under the name Psych- and noticed something interesting. The same I.P. address was used. For me, that's deplorable that he'd cheat to begin with- but now he can be shown to be the liar, cheat and fraud that he is. R.D. -

Robb- _brandon_ has been a huge pain in the ass for a long time now- and being an ass is what he does quite well. If anything: Look at how many people DO appreciate your help (Myself included) along the way. Many of us do appreciate everything you do- and continue to do well- more than you can imagine. The shits are all pissed off now that they realize what they've lost for being immature children with no real lives. Now they want to vocalize about it. Fuck them. _Brandon_ , TMH, et al. are just sorry examples of humanity- and in all reality, if they think they can do better elsewhere, let them. None of them have the resources, the wherwithall, or the integrity to do it. I'd say that were simply getting rid of trash that needed to get taken out sooner rather than later; it just happens they're being total dicks about it. Let them fester in their own world of fantasy- while we run the best site on the net for the people who DO appreciate things being done your way- and for the common good. I say: a little TPR ExLax is getting rid of the backed up shits. Flush, and we don't have to worry about them anymore. R.D. Yes, TMH is there to support his "NOT ME!" attitude- and lies to those other people about his innocence. I belive in Karma- and someday, he'll get screwed over by somebody close to him- who will give him the -exact- same lines... -
Ha. Ha. Ha. I've heard of Easter Eggs in software, but that's RIDICULOUS! (And really, Robb... I don't like small boys in tights. The tights are optional. Get it right, please.) Good catch, too... on all accounts.
