^ thank you, Ada Quonsett... (Look up the movie 'Airport' for the reference) I'm thinking we need to once again tell the kiddies to SPEL Korrektlee and use grammar real gooder again. In the past 48 hours, I've spent three doing 'corrections' and such... -

Awesome TR, Laura- What's scary is this: A -portable- carnival STILL has more rides than we do here in ALL of Arizona. What's WRONG with this picture??? R.D. -

Just thought I'd point out some spelling and grammar mistakes in that ad. The coaster looks amazing, though! AHEM. 1.) No backseat moderating, please. 2.) See above. 3.) Don't do it to a Moderator, either. That's some -really- bad karma that you're spreading around. Derek has made a -single- typo. I'd like to see the day where I don't have to correct at LEAST 100 different typos and spelling errors in our posts. R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team -

That's a LOT of work there- but it looks great. The effort y'all put out is tremendous, and quite elegant for a budget along the way. (I'm now very glad I did a small, private ceremony!!!) R.D. -
Cheap sunglasses? I think I've ejected more of them over the east coast than anything else- the best were the ones that I launched into low earth orbit off of Hypersonic XLC at KD years ago. As for me: Croaker straps are the best; they're lycra, and they tend to breathe nicely for my needs. As I'm also bald, they tend to stop rubbing/irritation on the ol' noggin along the way, too.

TPR and Theme Park Artwork
QueerRudie replied to sfmmFREAK's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I normally would say 'no' to this request, as that's what this thread is for... But GO FOR IT! I'm drooling over the rest of the park's features. The only thing I request is that you put up enough photos to make it worth it. In the header line, put [Theme Park Art] so we know what it is along the way. Looks good. Is there any way you could do a 'start-to-finish' timeline before posting up the finished works? R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team -
Outstanding- Glad to see it produced results. I'll be putting up the specifics in the 'thread' itself about the loan repayment. If they are playing the scenario correctly, the park itself can pay down it's debts without too much effort easily (Thus why there's three coasters to start with; all cash-cows of sorts). If I could ask you to post your park in one week's time as an 'example' that would be great- I'd like to get my own variation up at the same time- sort of "Moderator's whimsies" if you will. The final revision will be done tommorow to the base park; I've also decided to do some 'grooming' of sorts- I.e. some shop renaming etc. to make it more compatible to the works of Prince Desmond. Two days and counting... LOL R.D.

Six Flags South Carolina in 2011, A Farewell [RCT3]
QueerRudie replied to iNixon's topic in Games Forum Moderators
I thought about that: But he's WAY too familiar with the forum's 'features' for color, italics, etc. that I'm still not quite sure of myself... thus my thoughts for splitting it off here... -
Great stuff- I'll go ahead and re-name some of the 'more imfamous' shops/stands to more 'Desmond-esque' features along the way. I tried to avoid using 'Teh' too much- but I'll spell-check that I've not inadvertently put a typo in that's not really represented too much! R.D.

I moved this here as I think this guy's a troll: Look at the message for a minute- something's fishy with it... as in: he's been following this from the beginning, and yet, he's only been here for six hours??? R.D. -
Right on, Brother, right on. The 'girly' thing has -NEVER- flown with me. Ever. There are people who fully enjoy that, and dig it, etc. but I don't get it myself. Nor do I get the whole Lady Gaga thing, either. She wears eggs and raw meat. That does NOT equate to being an Icon, but rather, an undercooked breakfast. Congratulations on that- Having somebody to share your passions with is always a good thing in a relationship- thus why I'm with a fellow Disney-ist. (Gee, and every year for our Birthdays we're either at the Disney Museum or at DL...)

Once again, these photos are great- After recently acquiring a copy of E-Ticket featuring Space Mountain (StarPorts 75 and 77) and seeing all the great historical stuff makes me want to bust out the wallet and raid e-bay. These pics just pushed me a little bit further towards doing so. (And MCJaco- you're right. He's definitley put on as many pounds as there are years at EPCOT!)

From what I've seen as of late: TLM is about as reliable as a 1973 Ford Pinto with bad brakes. Hacking? in the RCT III community? Not likely. If anything, I've given him the benefit of the doubt on the (sometimes) hefty levels of BS he's pumped into chat and into the threads over the past six months or so; that is, I've had my run-ins with him in the past, but I've given him a bit of leash overall... I feel differently now. He's already on thin-ice with me for raising the hackles of others on previous challenges (TotW and TPR Challenges) and I'm just about over his BS in quantity. As i noted before: I suspect he's using an alias with rct4fan as his name; When I attempted to look up his IP, however, it was 'convieniently' blocked from my viewing of it when I was doing a 'name inspection' of sorts. I'm guessing you (the REAL Matt!) did see it- but I'm one who belives that if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, has a bill, feathers and webbed feet... it's a duck. that's my .02 on it. (1 of 12)- OK: Twelve weeks to 'rollout' Twelve weeks to figure out more clues. BTW: The second 'pdf' is also similar to the first one: THe first was ch01.pdf, the second ch02.pdf- perhaps we've got another 'internal' clue? R.D. -

I'm starting to get curious as to the postings of The Legendary Matt again... The recent RCT 3 thread (Top Thrill Dragster!!!) has four posts from a character named Rct4fan, and for some reason I get the hinkies up over it being a dupe account for TLM (or some other 'troll' du jour). Just a heads up, I think. Also: Whatever happened to the Judge's choice for the NL Arrow TPR challenge? If I were to cast a vote for it, it'd be Jakizle- by far. BTW: Posting up some pics of the new challenge today to the Mod's RCT II thread; other stuff to go up later on as well. R.D. -
Thanks- I'm going to do some minor revisions of the scenario itself today (Yes, even I get a day off every once in a while!) and write out the scripts, etc. for the thread. Crazy Park Manager will be paying a visit to chat this evening/tommorow evening- I'll be sure to keep an eye on him... Any changes needed? I'm curious to see how y'all feel about the final product with it. R.D.

OK: Here it is- this is the prototype for Teh Big Dipper challenge in it's first revision; I'm thinking of making some basic changes to this in terms of a few items here and there, but otherwise, it's ready to go. The basic guise of this is to make it EASY for people to play, as well as having a bit of challenge to it; that is, Teh Big Dipper is featured (Thus the 'thought' behind it) and to be a park where members will have to think carefully while playing it. It's also a challenge to make sure people know how to build pretty rides- as you'll notice: Scenery is kept to an ABSOLUTE minimum. There are some items added in- trees, plants, etc. but very little in the way of actual scenery elements (Walls, roofs, etc.). The reason? Very simply put: It's time to showcase our ride designers talents- not just the scenery aspects of the game itself. This, in itself, is designed to bring in more people to play it; a lot of the feedback I got from the last RCT II challenge was that there were too many 'scenery' players trying to vie for the prize, and that turned off a lot of people from entering the challenge in the first place. To tie into this challenge are Teh Big Dipper coasters- which is the 'theming' reason behind the challenge itself. As you'll see on Monday, I have a -lengthy- PTR of a "Big Dipper" coaster on a trip throughout Arizona, California, and Oregon, which will also cross-link into the challenge itself (Yes, a bit of cross-promoting never hurt anyone!). If the buzz over this is big enough, I hope (and have set a 'goal' of) to get 25 entrants into this challenge- the first one we had 17, so it should not be too hard to get additional people in. As with the previous challenges: Entrants will have TWO WEEKS to put together their park into the exchange, as well as to post pictures along the way. Custom add-ons are not permitted, and, as usual, no hacking/trainers are allowed for it. Every person who submits a park to this challenge will also get a 100 pt. 'bonus' into their accounts- another way to boost people playing this particular challenge. The winning prize is a set of Teh Big Dipper coasters, plus a TPR bag of Crap. A 'Moderator's Choice' winner will recieve a Bag of Crap as well, just to ensure we have our bases covered along the way. Crazy Park Manager will post this challenge on Monday AM (PDT; I've figured out that some of our 'dimmer' members don't realize that there IS a standard time, so I'm posting PDT for all entries being submitted to the challenge...) and will end two weeks later (Monday at midnght, PDT). Voting will open promplty on Tuesday eve, and run one week (Once again, closing Monday at Midnight, PDT). I'll notify Wes, Ernie and Krazekidd to post up appropriate tweets/FB updates, as well as post the thread to the forum at the same time. If all goes well, this could be a real show-stopper, especially since the kids are out of school- and probably bored a bit already... R.D. Teh Big Dipper Challenge.zip

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread
QueerRudie replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm finding some amusement in this site myself, the depth of it is rather astounding- but I sort of think there's a level of 'whimsy' to this as well. Perhaps (just for shits and grins here) it's a site designed to pump more 'air' into things, that is, throw off the trail for a bit? We're still more than 10 weeks out before 'announcement' (If there ever IS one!) and there's more time to tell the tale. I guess the best thing to see is 'wait and see' R.D. -

Wow- I'm gone a week and we have Penis Coaster sex threads etc... The next challenge is almost ready to go- and I'll be driving this one like a nail. (You'll have to wait to see how I'm cross-promoting it, though, as I still have to upload the pics and 'edit' them a bit...) As for the scheduling: I'll be sending out a 'Tweet/FB' schedule to fit the contest; and with it being Prince Desmond, I think it's going to get some additional traffic across the site. I'll drop it on Monday Morning, and get the promotion engine going. Perhaps the week the TPR challenge gets released, we should pass on the ToTW contest? Just a thought- that way we don't end up double-promoting items across the exchange/forum with confusion. Also: Perhaps making sure that we don't double-dip (That is, have a RCT II challenge in the same week as we have a TPR ToTW contest with RCT II). I'll post the 'schedule' for the Prince Desmond Challenge in the RCT II challenge thread tommorow eve for perusal by all; everything else should be up and ready for Monday release- and like the others, a two-week run, day to close down and present the options, and five days to vote in from there. R.D.

I apologize that I've not posted up my 'piece' of the puzzle- I'll try to get that uploaded soon; I'm in California on holiday for now- but if I get two minutes to my other machine, I'll do so. R.D. "Married now 24 hours, and we've not had the first fight yet!" -
^ Ahem.... isn't that the same guy who won LAST time... and resulted in similar 'ooops'ness? (Glad to see it happened to somebody else, too!)
