  1. I'll start working on that today; there's something VERY close to that in Yield Management that's akin to that. Give me a few hours- R.D.
  2. I can see his works being protected- in all reality, that's what he's done with good effort. Yes, we should keep his stuff behind closed doors (I.E. the downloads OF the stuff) but it's going to be nearly impossible if people upload parks with his stuff in it to stop.
  3. Something's fishy here, I think- but I'm not quite sure just how it could be proven. I was 'checking up' on things in the Exchange, and this transaction sort of caught my eye a bit- for obvious reasons. Thoughts? atlcoasternut 66.190.86.243 June 9, 2011, 10:47 pm Update rank (5) on Track 2201 atlcoasternut 66.190.86.243 June 9, 2011, 10:46 pm Rank (5) on Track 2201 atlcoasternut 66.190.86.243 June 9, 2011, 10:46 pm User Login coasterfreak80 71.236.3.134 June 9, 2011, 10:15 pm Upload Track 2201 coasterfreak80 71.236.3.134
  4. Here's some 'construction' pics of 'my' version of Vintage Gardens.. SCR39.BMP 2Tone Plunge... you knew it was coming. SCR40.BMP Let's get Screwed! SCR41.BMP Hmmmm... walkways are GOOOOOD. SCR42.BMP It's not a mine train, it's not a hypercoaster... could it be REVENGE OF THE JET-COASTER???
  5. Ugh. Those pics of the Zoomazon falls make it look like SFA has actually DONE SOMETHING KIND-OF RIGHT. And what's worse, they're moving towards putting in a new attraction. Crap. If they keep this up I'll have to find new reasons to hate SFA other than just pure suck-factor.
  6. The same can be said for Busch Gardens Williamsburg- and the Three Rivers Smokehouse. The Beef Brisket there is NOT to be missed, nor is the half-chicken- still one of the best values in all of a theme park. Agreed COMPLETELY.
  7. Might is correct: The B&M floorless patent is in the very first post of the thread- but since that was more of a 'try it out, see if it flies' post, I'll be re-doing it in the not-too-distant future with more content, and certainly more graphics. I do have the existing patents for those rides- but haven't quite gotten around to a mega-B&M day on the thread. As for the Vekoma Flyers and SLC: I don't have too much on Vekoma as yet- most of their stuff is actually 'shared' with Arrow Dynamics/Arrow-Huss/Arrow Development, where most of their original track structure comes from. However, I'm in the middle of a search for things for future threads, so I'll keep an eye out! R.D.
  8. I always enjoyed skull mountain, and it's sad to see it go. However: Extended down times, mechanical failures to the extreme, elements that didn't work and generally slow capacity (I won't fault Intamin for that one) just don't make for a good ride. However, I'm also wondering why they'd install a new attraction that close to other existing attractions, too- as that doesn't quite make too much sense; the plot of ground it's on is land-locked (Or is it Ride-Locked) on all sides, so I'm already ruling out something big/large-scale. R.D.
  9. I will be seeing that in the third cycle (Two weeks from yesterday on...)
  10. Actually: I did try to get a photo of the over-sized Domo. As always: Before taking a photo, you ASK FOR PERMISSION first. Thus avoiding problems. The store clerk said that photography was strictly prohibited. Unlike a few enthusiasts on other sites who do things without asking, I DO ask first. So if you want to SEE said Domo-ginormous, here's the way to do so. 1.) Buy a ticket to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) 2.) Go to Japantown Mall, and enter the middle building. 3.) Veer to the left past the first store with a Domo t-shirt in the window (Yes, you'll want to stop, but don't.) Keep going down that main hall, and up the set of three stairs. 4.) There is a toy-store/childrens store. Look in the window. There he is! R.D.
  11. Oh -WOW- Mr. Meers was brilliant in the movie played by Bea Lillie- and she was a HOOT!!! One of my all-time favorite musicals- and I can still recall one of the greatest lines being.... "Mrs Meers? What are you doing?" "Oh, I'm trying to get this stain out of the carpet." "Oh? What are you using?" "Soy Sauce." and recalling that over an asian dinner with a good friend both of us screaming... "SOY SAUCE! SOY SAUCE! SHE RUINED MY BRAND NEW DRESS AND IT'S FRESH FROM PARIS!" (returning to normal 'butch mode' now...) R.D.
  12. Actually: C.P.M. added on the prize to encourage more people to particpate- and I've just counted the downloads... There are currently 27 individual downloads of the TPR challenge. In order for a third prize to be added, the count would have to be over 50 ENTRIES, not downloads! Tell your friends, tell your family- encourage people to play! R.D. Games Forum Management Team
  13. Kleenex, Please. Now. 1.) The Mother Zierer 2.) This F'ing coaster Hershey's been toying with me on now for six F'ing months 3.) Dolly. (Nuff' said- although if she's THERE while we're THERE, OMG!) Oh- and a Mother Schwarzkopf, The Mother Arrow, Oh G-D!
  14. Elissa- you just answered my greatest thoughts and prayers... Hershey and Dolly in the same trip!!!
  15. I chose controversial as if you get any two enthusiasts together and discuss them, three opinions will emerge... In all reality though, the designs have not been an overwhelming success- yet. With both Intamin A.G. and B&M pursuing the 4D concept, they may make a re-birth again in the future with more 'gusto' than before. As for the ThrustAir 2000, well, let's just say that was a concept that was too early for it's own good. While advances were made with the Powder Keg and now the series of coasters appearing in China and in Germany (Once again: RingRacer still isn't open!) we still haven't seen the great proliferation of this ride concept around the world- yet. I'll take a look into the omnimover and other dark ride technologies for a future update! R.D.
  16. OK: Do this: When you place the park in the Scenarios file, be sure to put .SC6 on the end of it. It appears you downloaded it, and deleted off the .SC6 extention! R.D.
  17. Neither can i- Can you send me a screenshot of what you're encountering with your upload? Also, what OS are you using? R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team
  18. If you're downloading this week's challenge, you need to put the park in your 'Scenarios' file of RCT II. It should work from there.
  19. You have to wonder... Are those numbers and letters on the bottom of the column this week's 'hint' as to the next major clue??? R.D.
  20. Generally, if you're downloading a custom park, you must have the scenery sets these people are using in their park. If they are GOOD AND DECENT people, they will have selected the box marked "IMPORT SCENERY" from the options menu before uploading the park to TPR's Game Exchange... IF they DID NOT select that, then 1,000 hungry chiuauauas will come nipping at their ankles till they're dead as punishment. Otherwise, perhaps D.J. (Derek) could answer the question more fully-
  21. Actually: YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR PARK IN MARCH, YEAR SIX. No exceptions- HOWEVER: You can play the scenario many times over- that is, if you don't like it the first time, do it again. The reason that C.P.M. Selected March, Year 6 is simple: It puts all entries on the same level- so there is a reasonable judging point for the contest. I hope this clarifies up things. R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team
  22. I'm going to be uploading my own park as well- but not for competition's sake.
  23. Let's go cheap and easy... Woodie. Any. That way people lose the excuse for 'supports' take too long...
  24. Perhaps the answer would be... _ _ _ _ 3162 2037? (Yes, a HP Joke...)
