Holy crap. What coasters do you like? Don't say Stealth, aka Borg Assimilator. Oh, I guess you must hate B&M. I don't really disagree with you. I just want to know why you hate so many coasters that are acclaimed (and how you can hate a coaster before it's built).

The drop ride's the best ride there. It's called Sky Diver. It's actually the best drop ride I've ever ridden. It's not too tall, but the drop is totally unexpected.

The best show I've ever seen at an amusement park was the first show I ever saw at an amusement park: "Rockin' the Boat" at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 1999. I loved it! Some of the songs they sang still get stuck in my head today.

I keep getting an e-mail every time someone replies to a topic I've replied to. I don't need this. I check the boards daily, so I don't need an e-mail telling me some stranger has replied to a thread I posted in. How can I turn that off? I'm not used to it being the default, so how can I make it so I don't keep getting this? I forget that it's checked at the bottom, so I was wondering if I could make that unchecked every time I post.

Sure, for people of smaller stature, but larger people fit snugly against the shoulder restraints.

Also, what's become of this new obsession to put OTSRs on these nonlooping coasters? Superman Escape, Kingda Ka, Rita and this coaster have them. What gives? Especially Rita. Come on.

I noticed that Raptor's first drop is much better on the right than on the left (in the back), but you get some negative Gs on the left when you exit the zero-G roll. B&Ms are pretty much the only coasters that really make a difference. Mostly, it's heading down the first drop where that difference is. I prefer to sit on the opposite side the drop turns. It's more forceful. X is different in every seat you sit in. I prefer the outside on the left in the luge turn because you get killer laterals in it.

I've read this a hundred times, and I just don't get it. You were a coaster enthusiast before you were born? But I digress. RCDB says it plain and simple. The coaster had a gap, it didn't work in testing so they fixed it. A gap in a coaster would never work. The nearest we have to them are kamikaze "coasters" in Japan. They drop down a drop and jump off the tracks into water, I believe.

G-forces are crazy invisible things that somehow do magic and keep people from falling out of rides.

I wonder why there's a walkway at the top of the top hat. I hope there aren't brakes up there. Also, the brakes on the camelback start before the apex, which is disappointing. I wonder why they couldn't just make a longer brake run.

When I rode Laser, it was absolutely dead at Dorney. The longest wait I had was after Wildwater Kingdom closed and everyone went to Steel Force. Then I only waited about five minutes. But I digress. When I got my second ride on Laser, I asked the ride host if I could sit in the back. She let me but kept assigning seats to everyone else.

What are they building on the webcam? Is that the station?

A holding brake before the cable lift? Why not just make it go straight out of the station like Intamin hypers? Also, a cable lift on a woodie is cool. I was waiting for Intamin to do this. Next we'll see overbanked turns.

Freefall is technically an Intamin drop tower.

Isn't that the one with the PTC steel coaster trains?

The last helix on Patriot was pretty fun. It's a shame they're selling it. Hopefully another coaster will go in its place. This state's got too few coasters as it is! If anyone wants to see a POV from Patriot's back row, click here. My bandwidth may die, though.
