How can I bring a tortoise to a baseball game

I believe Russians use Vodka to remain warm. -
I know this will not be a popular opinion, but if KBF really did get paint the brakes and then fail to inspect them afterwards they deserve to get sued. I know things happen but that really seems like pure negligence. As Robb just said I'd be curious to know when the paint got on the brakes, and if it had been there a while was this the first time that it had a rollback since being painted?

^If you look at the serving size for those fries they are not meant to serve a single person, but rather 3-4 people. My wife and I can easily split the regular order at Five Guys. -
It's just 18, Colossus only counts as a single coaster. This really did come out of left field, however I think it'll be a good move for the park. While I don't want to see the return of the Xtreme Park I do think SFMM should stick as being a coaster park. What would be great is if they could continue putting in coasters while keeping the infrastructure from falling apart again. Time will tell on this one! Also I'm thrilled to see SFMM finally working with Intamin again!

Avery is never innocent! What do you guys think about the Devils only dressing 15 players the other night, I'm hearing the league is looking at this as cap circumvention.

I believe in evolution because there is such strong evidence in favor of it. While as others have pointed out that it takes a lot of time to see speciation, there are examples that can be seen. I encourage everybody to go look up and read about the peppered moth, as it is one of the easiest ways to see evolution in action. As far as the thought that we have evolved from monkeys, I'm not sure why so many people take such offense to that. It's not to say we are still monkey's, it's just who we are most closely related to. Sometime take a minute and go look at Australopithecus and I think it becomes pretty easy to actually see evolution.

Teen racks up 14,000 texts in one month
AllenA07 replied to davisal771's topic in Random, Random, Random
My sister used to send 8,000 or so texts a month when she was a little younger. I remember thinking it was nuts because she would sleep with her phone so she could quickly respond to her messages. I send (or recieve) about 300-350 a month and I feel like that is ton. To be fair however while I would be fine without texting, I would feel lost without being able to use my phone for emails. -

Bet she has some sore thumbs, but really I'm not sure why this is news. -
In terms of Shakespeare I always found Macbeth to be one of his better works.

Girl falls in open sewer while texting
AllenA07 replied to chemical_echo's topic in Random, Random, Random
No problem with the people who disagree with me, I'm just giving my opinion as well, doesn't make me more right than anybody else. If this girl did decide she wanted to sue she would likely get introduced to the wonderful world of comparative negligence. Basically the court would figure how how at fault both parties were, and that is all she would recover. So basically if the jury finds the city 1% at fault they would pay 1% of the victims total damages. It basically is how we prevent unjust enrichment. My guess is absolutely nothing will come of this, since in the video it seemed like the girl was unhurt. Maybe she could sue the city for $50 (or $25 for one) for her lost shoe? -

The more I think about it, the more I actually agree with the girl that the city was at fault. People walk distracted all the time, and generally without much chance of danger. I'm not going to walk out into the busy street because I'm going to see cars in front of me, but I don't generally look at my feet as I walk. I've walked and texted many times, I've walked while eating, I've walked while talking to people, I've even walked while reading a book. If there is something at eye level I'm going to see it and stop, if there is a hole in the ground however then I'm going to be taking a dive. I know not all of you will agree with me, but the more I think about it the city is at fault and should have put up cones to warn people. -
Or by three touchdowns, either way I'm pleased.

I'm taking the side that the girl was a moron for not at least having an idea of where she was walking, and that the city was negligent for not putting cones around the open hole in the ground. -
Ok I'm going to come out and call it, UCLA is going to beat UT by a touchdown this weekend.

I'm working my way through Rachet and Clank: A Crack in Time at the moment. I've got Uncharted 2 sitting over in the corner waiting to go next.

Generally for me anything short of "Bench: The Ride" is going to get my feeling pretty dizzy. Generally I can handle a coaster, but if you throw me on something like Tony Hawk, well I don't suggest riding next to me. While generally I think SFMM is a coaster park first and foremost, I think at this particular moment in time they really could use a few new flat rides. Just because I don't particularly enjoy them doesn't mean that they are not necessary for the park.

I was also a real slacker in High School. It's not that my grades were bad, it just is that when I figured out I could get a 3.0 GPA without any real effort that was good enough for me. Because of my decisions there I ended up having to go to community college for two years, which actually really helped get me focused and make me serious about school.

I actually just saw a report on the news about this, they say that it is pretty common that the park floods in that area, and that they are not terribly worried about damage. Still however, in my little area (about an hour and a half north of SFOT) we had about 8 inches of rain today, I'm not sure how much they had by the park but as I understand it they had more then we did. As the above poster said the entire area is under a tornado watch. Fun times!!!

The thought of somebody putting something in your drink was actually my first thought as to why they make you take the drinks on the ride with you. Just on that off chance that somebody decides that it would be a good idea to put something into your drink, the park doesn't want to risk responsibility.

It's interesting that arts, business, and engineering are out to such a huge lead over everything else. Makes me wonder if there is a reason for this.
